I have been absolutely blown away by all of the positive messages and words of encouragement upon the release of this video. I hope this video helped you, whoever YOU are, for whatever reason you're here. I hope it encourages you to talk about sex and your body with your partner, your friends, your children because it's only scary when we don't give it a name, shame lives in the dark. Lead by example, and start using the correct words for your body parts, don't skip over them, don't make them something to be ashamed of. Sending you love and light wherever you are on your journey; it's a long one, but we've had the power all along

When she said “women are cheated out of their arousal” that’s when I got very emotional. We’re not just taught how our vaginas and vulvas are supposed to look, taste, and smell. We’re also taught that women are too difficult to pleasure, or they take too long. So many women I know aren’t getting the pleasure that they deserve out of their sex lives because of that reason. Why is it a bad thing that women typically take longer? Why do we not deserve pleasure because it’s “too much work”? Why can’t we be allowed to enjoy our sexual experiences without feeling insecure and rushed? Im grateful to be with a man who understands this how I do, and I know not all men out there think that way. It has just been engrained into both genders to think that a woman’s pleasure is more work than it’s worth

Im still a teenager and i like to do research about vaginas and vulva. I remember reading a youtube comment about a girl who's health teacher encouraged the students to look at their genitals to understand what is going on. I was curious and i decided to do that myself, i remember expecting my vulva to look how it did when i was younger and when i noticed it was different, i got scared and i almost cried. I asked my mom about it and she explained and i did some research on it. I thought i accepted it but watching this video made me realize how i still considered a vulva where the labia minora is not visable to be the norm. When i found out that women take longer to reach an orgasm and are harder to pleasure, i thought it was sad but i just accepted it. Watching this video and reading your comment made me realize i am scared for when i become sexually active because i dont want to be less of a priority because i am statistically harder to pleasure. This really upsets me but i'm glad that i have videos like this and comments like these to learn and empower myself with

It's always the controlling types of people that decide what's "normal" for everyone else to follow. And to prevent anyone from not following their own subjective standards or ideas, they simply need to shame others and make them feel bad about themselves, until they conform. The solution is simple: Just reject and ignore anyone who shows controlling and demanding traits, and ignore whatever reasoning or logic or manipulation they can ever present to convince you of your own inferiority.

“If you’ve experienced trauma in your body, connecting to it feels like you’re returning to scene of the crime.” Hearing these words hit me like a train, because that’s literally how it feels to me. I became so emotional hearing that. I was raped at 9 years-old. Exploring my sexuality has been a rollercoaster of sorts, as if I’m constantly going through a tug of war with embracing it and feeling like I’m returning to the scene of the crime. When I was violated and that power I had over my body was taken away at such a young age. I’m still struggling and learning to embrace more of my vulva and my sexuality. But it’s going to be a long journey of healing and acceptance, for as long as it takes me. This video is so powerful and has totally changed my view on sexuality and that any vulva is a normal vulva. I am 17, I only found out there was a difference in outties & innies this year, since then I have gotten very insecure about my body, I have never had discomfort & I have run cross country & track for 3 years now, I had thought what I have was normal, since I discovered the difference & labiaplasty I have been researching & planning out saving up for the surgery purely bc of aesthetic reasons & feeling like I am lesser or somehow gross for looking how I've always looked. This impacted me so deeply in the most empowering way possible. I sincerely cried with this woman. We need to become more comfortable about accepting & recognizing this very normal part of our bodies. Men should understand the normality of outties also..there are enough insecurities forced onto women this shouldn't be another. @@angelasmith6946 Indeed. It's is good to have a woman acknowledge that it is genital mutilation. Because it is. In fact, if I can remember correctly the foreskin is 40 or 50 percent of the penile tissue. So, essentially they are cutting off half of your penis. Men truly do not get many progressive concerns afforded to us. The traditional tell us that it's not part of our role and the progressive crowd says we don't deserve it because we are men and the enemy. I sure wish I had the multiple freedoms and protections I do not have as a man that women have. It would be nice for people I don't know to show concern for me were I to get hurt on the street. I also got labiaplasty. It was always uncomfortable and I absolutely hated wearing cute bikinis and swimsuits because my labia could slip out any time. The pinching, oh my god the pinching was unbearable at times. And what I always wanted to know is why my labia looked like that and not small and “normal”. I discovered it was normal to have longer/asymmetrical/darkened labia years ago. But the burning desire to get labiaplasty hasn’t left me for 10+ years and I was sick of it being on my mind. I accepted all of my other flaws when I was 21-22, small boobs, nose, etc. but at 25 I was still thinking about my labia and finally decided it was time to go under the knife. Advice I wish I knew when I was 18 to anyone wanting labiaplasty, GO TO A GYNECOLOGIST, they can get rid of the excess skin and it’s usually less than $1000.
