Bible says it clearly, Christian life is about transformation. It is a life led by the spirit of God. It is a walk with Jesus. It is about understanding God and doing what he expects. We have lost it all and made this like a religious ritual. When we get forgiveness of sins by repentance, the true repentance leads to new desires in life to live for Jesus and live like Jesus. That is the new covenant. God gives us a new heart to fear Him and follow Him. We will not indulge in sinful activities not just because others say not to, but we will feel that I can't hurt my God, I don't want this old sinful life. The church is the place to lead towards this transformation.
