I don't think it's weird that Elon got involved in politics. The FAA was stonewalling SpaceX for years, and a blue judge tried to block his Tesla pay package on an opinion. Maybe other shenanigans with his social media platorm and advertisers(I don't use them), so it was only a matter of time. The question is, will it be a problem 4 years out?

This is my first truck. I like it because nothing like it - the design. Love / hate all good as long as it's not boring. Even my friend said the cybertruck is ugly but he knows the name. One thing is the wind noise is substantial on all ride height.

This is a keep it real question. I brought my 2023 model S plaid for $99K brand new last October 2023. So i went to ask tesla how much would give me trade in 11 months later with 12,000 miles. They offer only $58,000. That’s 40% in one year that’s crazy. It’s hard to recommend or even buy another tesla or EV knowing that their value tank like that. Know that the cyber truck will have the same faith has made me back away. I know you just got it and loving it but do you in your heart believe it’s their best vehicle? If you only could keep one would it be that one?

I plan on keeping this cybertruck for 10+ years so I'm not concerned with the resell or trade in value. If you get rid of your vehicles every couple of years you should look into leasing them

It’s a quiet ride unless you have the trim collar that rubs the steering. Mine gives me anxiety on every left turn until my service appointment next month. Anyone picking one up be sure to inspect that it turns without noise. I made the bad decision of bringing hangry kids to the delivery and I looked it over.

Tesla doesn't do "new year" like other manufactures. Updates come when they come. FSD, Power share home back up, and the wheels are the only real upgrades on FS.

I got the same truck a few days ago and its great. I am told that I have a free Month of Supervised FSD, but I can't use it because I don't have any software upgrades. I try and upgrade the software, but I get the message that none is available. I have the truck hooked up to my wifi in my garage so I don't quite understand what is up. I have signed up for Supervised FSD $100/month and that starts on December 19. Looks like I will never get the free month of Supervised FSD. Any idea what is going on?

That's one gripe I share about my Teslas. Seems like when you get a brand new car from them it should have the most current software. But it doesn't and you just have to wait for it to come around to be your turn to get the update. I traded in my Model Y and it had more up-to-date software than the new one.

Not the best-looking vehicle, but I'll never own one no good for my climate or my driving conditions batteries freeze and don't like wet conditions besides they use diesel generators to charge these vehicles in most places .If your a city dweller, I guess, but in remote places they won't be any good it's an 8 hour drive to get to a major city criminals will hang out at charging stations, eventually just making people targets .

Canadian Insurance companies have STOPPED covering cybertrucks saying they don't cover ARMORED vehicles. They will still cover it, BUT with a hefty premium. One Torontonian commented that he just learned the reason why his neighbor has not been driving his cybertruck. NO INSURANCE, NO DRIVE 😊 Coming soon to our friendly neighbor down south 🇺🇸
