Great video! Very informative! I would love to hear more about your budgeting style and tips how you saved up for the car. If you're up for talking about it.

i had no interest in teslas until i came across your vlog. i did more research and i am definitely considering getting a tesla. the fact that the car doesnt need regular maintenance definitely converted me. please update us on your new car! i would love to see a review on the car. :)

All electric vehicles are low maintenance. I've been told that you should also rotate the tires (switch the positions of the tires) up every couple thousand km. I think its fine to do it each time you get the tires switched over from winter to regular. I don't really know, I'm just as clueless when it comes to maintenance :P I recently picked up my model 3 just before you did, and I love it. I also love that I have one and am still watching all you tesla videos! I feel like I am just obsessed still haha. Keep the videos coming!

This "little to no maintenance" reason is a little bit more than what it is on the surface. Sure you don't have to worry about the transmission or do oil changes. But you still have to take care of your brakes (although substantially reduced frequency due to regen braking), taking care of your battery (charging and discharging habits), just name a few. More importantly, Tesla is essentially the Apple of cars (whether you like that or not). Meaning, they have software measures to block many 3rd party company repair shops to do repairs on it. You would be stuck going to a Tesla for service and it is very likely to be pricier. Otherwise, electric cars are the way to go! Not necessarily Teslas though.

how’s the battery life?? ik you drove to whistler with it, but how about across the country? this is a big factor in why my dad thinks electric cars cant beat normal gasoline cars and charging isnt an instant go like filling up a tank yet. hopeful for the future that the tech will be more advanced

Her car can drive to whistler and back. Then back to whistler. Also it can charge at 2000kmh. A regular gas car can pump gas at about 3600 kmh.
