For what it is worth let me explain problems Muslims face in India. 1) Upper class, wealthy, educated Muslims have less problems in India. They can achieve success in any area they chose to and become successful doctors, engineers, businessmen, lawyers, sportsmen, actors etc. 2) Poor Muslims get the same ration, public health, financial support from the government as Hindus. But the real problem is that there are no Muslim focussed social justice measures that poor Hindus may get based on being backward caste. Things like job reservation, seats in government colleges etc. The Sachar report highlighted this problem, but no action is being taken yet. This is where the problem lies. He has not highlighted this at all. In fact he does not talk about the actual issues that Muslims face and ends up discussing Hindu culture, Muslim culture which have no bearing at all on the topic of discussion.

See, for pakistanis, i would highlight few points. But u need to see how a common person like him, with so much hatred against a majority community, can touch how many levels in the system of India. He contested elections five times in his own words. What he is saying the conspiracy against him by establishment, should be called as resistance by political parties and it happens all over the world. In Pakistan, person with such anti majority sentiments plus trying to come in power, will be killed in day light. I hope u will agree. So this is the level of tolerance. Another point is that he wants power, so he wants to be in govt. And there is nothing wrong to aspire for power. And he is really focused in it as i guess he had no family. But what u do after being powerful, matters a lot. At last, i want to say he should not be loosing hope. May be he can take inspiration from other Muslim leaders in India

Such is weird interview. A person who migrated to Islamic country is comdeming India on becoming slowly theocratic. Had he migrated to a secular country and complained, it would have been a diff story, I would somehow tried to understand.
