I agree that we are in a wonderful time to be able to listen to wonderful sermons. We have no excuse not to know the true living God. There's so much available to us all. At any given time. With that said, there is also no reason not to love and get to know the real Lord and savior Jesus Christ. If we choose not to get to know him, then that is on you. there is too much information out there today. That shows his love. There's no way you should fall under a false teacher only if you're not trying. I LOVE OUR LORD AND SAVIOR SO VERY MUCH, THANK YOU LORD FOR ALL YOUR LOVE AND TRUTH!!!!

1. Is there only one god, or are there multiple gods? If multiple, how is a person to choose which deserves obedience? 2. Would you agree that before anything can exist, something has to create it? Did your god create everything? If yes, who/what created your god? 3. Is your god infallible? 4. Is your god omnipotent? 5. Is your god omniscient? 6. Is your god benevolent, or malicious? 7. If your god cannot make mistakes, then it follows that everything it creates is either perfect, or that your god intentionally makes things that are flawed. Would a benevolent god intentionally create something likely to suffer because of its flaws? 8. If your god can do anything, and it created the universe, why didn't it simply create a perfect world inhabited by perfect beings? If your god wanted obedience, and god is not malicious, why did god make disobedience possible? 9. If your god knows everything, does it already understand every thought and feeling you have? Does it instantaneously know everything you say and do? If yes, what is the point of religious rituals, such as prayer? 10. Why would an omnipotent and omniscient god not communicate directly and unambiguously with individuals, with no need of books, churches, prophets, signs, miracles, etc? If a person is not intelligent enough, or not "worthy" enough to speak directly with god, whose fault is that? Who made the person in the first place? If a person is unworthy or incapable of directly communicating with god, how can that person be capable of recognizing a valid spokesperson for god? If, as Protestants aver, each person can and must interpret for themselves, how can there ever be a uniform code of conduct? 11. Think about the person/people who convinced/persuaded/ordered you to believe in a version of god. Are they infallible? Is it at all possible for them to tell you something they sincerely believe, but for that thing they tell you to be actually incorrect? 12. Are feelings reliable tools to guide actions? Suppose I hear a person in my neighborhood talking a lot about the presence of violent break in robberies nearby, and I get apprehensive. I am convinced by the passion my neighbor puts into this story, even though I've seen no tangible evidence. That night, I hear a noise. I FEEL certain that it is a robber breaking in to harm my family. I get out of bed, pull a pistol from the bedside table. Without opening the bedroom door, I shoot through it to get the robber. When I open the door, there is my son, lying dead on the floor from my bullet. I was sure. I relied on my feelings. My fear of a robber. My hope of being a defender father. Feelings, not facts. Was that a good way to live my life? 14. Do you deny that religion (superstition, irrational behavior) is the root cause of most human conflict in history, that for centuries millions have been tortured and murdered "because god told me to do it"? 13. Suppose a person has a book full of maps to guide a group journey. They rely upon it, but the group is perpetually lost. You question the book, but your friend insists that the book is accurate. "How do you know?" you ask. They reply, "I know that this book is accurate and perfect, because it says so in the book." Your friend insists that the book is information from an expert, the best map authority who ever lived.....but some other people wrote the book, based on their interpretation of the map expert.....but that is okay, because of how passionately they shout about their version of the maps, and how strongly it makes your friend feel. When you show them hundreds of self contradictions in the book, they get upset and say that you are just not reading the book correctly. Which person is messed up? You, or the book fanatic? How do you justify cherry picking of which parts of the bible to follow? Read Leviticus lately? 14. If the point is to die and go to heaven, why not simply commit mass suicide and get it over with? Christ was quite literally a kamikaze; is that what you preach should be emulated in daily life? 15. Why is it necessary to use superstition and irrationality to justify your practical principles? Why treat humans like a donkey in need of the stick of hell and the carrot of heaven? If you want positive secular behavior, why not justify that behavior in practical terms? Perhaps because you know that your principles are utterly impractical, that altruism is literally suicidal?

his answer falls flat because he lied. The only gospel that can be verified with a person is Luke and he admitted in 1:1&2 it was stories passed down to him which he didnt say by who and what he believed not what is true. The other Gospels was given their name in the 2nd century by the church. This is not good evidence or eyewitness accounts. Matthew had zombie saints getting out the grave that no one else recorded. the book of John was written 60 years after jesus death at a time when life expectancy was only 50. finding eyewitness from the beginning of jesus life 80- 90 years earlier would have been next to impossible. You would have trouble walking around LA finding people who was actually eyewitness for the Watts riot in 65 who didnt just see it on TV which was only 70 years ago.

My faith in God and his word is not set apart from my reason of defense for him. 2 Peter1:20 knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, 2 Peter1:21 for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. The word of God is the rock on which I build my faith on. Matthew7:24 “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: God is a God that cannot lie there is no falsehood in him. Hebrews6:18 so that by two unchangeable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled for refuge might have strong encouragement to hold fast to the hope set before us. John1:14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. That word was Jesus who was made flesh he was with the father from the beginning and all things were created through him. John1:1 In the beginning, was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Colossians1:16 For by Him, all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. Colossians 1:17 And He is before all things, and in Him, all things consist. Colossians1:18 And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence. Colossians 1:19 For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, Colossians 1:20 and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross. Jesus is our mediator he is the one who stands before the father it is he who paid our debt in full. Through his complete and finished works and dying on the cross, yet to be resurrected so that all that was said by God through the prophets about the life of Christ would come to pass. Isaiah 53:5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes, we are healed. Isaiah 53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, everyone, to his way; And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. Isaiah 53:11, “Out of the anguish of His soul He shall see and be satisfied; by His knowledge shall the Righteous One, My Servant, make many to be accounted righteous, and He shall bear their iniquities. Hosea 6:1-2, “Come, let us return to the LORD; for He has torn us, that He may heal us; He has struck us down, and He will bind us up. After two days He will revive us; on the third day He will raise us up, that we may live before Him.” He came to do and fulfill the will of the Father. John 6:38 For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. John 12:49 For I have not spoken on My authority, but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak. The hope that is in me:The foundation I have build my house on is an unmovable object it Cannot be uprooted therefore my faith will be still when the wind blows and the flood water comes. Matthew 7:25 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. Thank you lord of lords king of kings, my Christ jesus.

Let me bring them out to you, and you can do with them as you wish. But please, leave these men alone, for they are my guests and are under my protection.” ●Judges 19 22 While they were enjoying themselves, a crowd of troublemakers from the town surrounded the house. They began beating at the door and shouting to the old man, “Bring out the man who is staying with you so we can have sex with him.” 23 The old man stepped outside to talk to them. “No, my brothers, don’t do such an evil thing. For this man is a guest in my house, and such a thing would be shameful. 24 Here, take my virgin daughter and this man’s concubine. I wish I would've had this in my back pocket to rebut her but I will never again be unprepared. 💪 We taught Dr. Baucham's script to our middle/high school Bible study group, rehearsing it as we went along. It has greatly helped them face the evil that is at their doors and in their faces every day. I pray they will be enabled and empowered to ALWAYS be able to give an answer for the hope they have. Please teach this to the youth in your sphere of influence! It will become part of their spiritual armor. It's not by blind faith that we follow Christ; the evidence is in plain sight. 🙌

That in it's original form the bible was a collection of books breathed by God and written by those that served Him. To be Christian means to follow the preaching of Christ. GS,....Yes, VB is a great speaker, however, what he is preaching here is a false gospel. It is the false manmade freewill gospel where we choose to believe. Where we make an intellectual decision and save ourselves by what we do. With out us logically and intellectually figuring this out and choosing to believe the Bible we would have not become saved. Our salvation is 100% dependent on us and our choice/decision making. The Bibles real gospel is, it is God who makes the choice to save an individual. God chooses us, we do not choose him. No one can choose God or can make an intellectual decision to believe. No one can raise themselves from their spiritual deadness or open their own blind eyes. What he has laid out is a false manmade gospel of works that is the opposite of the Bibles gospel of grace. He is a deceiver.

,....Yes, VB is a great speaker, however, what he is preaching here is a false gospel.
@br00kjr14 Жыл бұрын
@A WatchMan He doesn't say anything about working for your salvation..... it is a reasonable response to anyone who asks you for the hope that is in you and why you believe in the bible..... Even if you're sure of your salvation... a non believer asks you why? a reasonable response is commanded in scripture. Sovereign Election or any other doctrine wouldn't make sense to anyone who hasn't read the bible. These facts are a reasonable response. If you have a better way please share...
@awatchman-um7vy Жыл бұрын
@@br00kjr14 ,..Of course not, no one that teaches this false gospel is going to say they are teaching a works gospel. They will all always say, it is the Bibles gospel of grace. The fact is, anytime someone says we choose or accept, or repent, or believe, or make a decision, etc. this is a works gospel. If it requires you to do any of these things or anything else, then you have saved yourself by your actions (works) Without you doing something, you would have not become saved. It was all dependent on you choosing, accepting, admitting, repenting, believing, deciding, doing some kind of work/action. This is all another gospel that is totally disguised.
@br00kjr14 Жыл бұрын
@@awatchman-um7vy where is that at in this sermon? What are you talking about this is about giving a reasonable response for the hope in you not how you are saved

Not a very religious man, grew up just assuming people just copy their parents and religion when it comes to their beliefs. Asked God last night how one decides which religion? Went to work today and started watching the Shawn Ryan Podcast with a guy name Chad on and he just happened to mention this guy when asked why he believes what he believes. Pretty crazy coincidence.

why when he lied in the video? the gospels was given their name by the church in the 2nd century and was not eyewitness accounts. read luke 1:1-2. he tells you they was stories passed down (by some unknown people) and was what they believed at the time. Nothing about what was true. try doing research on the history of early christianity and the church.

Thanks @@defenestratefalsehoods What turned me round was two words Luke writes… an ‘orderly account.’
@defenestratefalsehoods Жыл бұрын
@@spiromlb the sad part is the apologists and ministers that claim the gospels are all eyewitness accounts. if luke told you he wasnt an eyewitness and it was written 50 years after jesus death how would a person think that John was an eyewitness account written 60+ years after his death. And like you said Luke said it was an orderly account. the question is An account from who? people trying to push what they only believe not whats true
