Why I chose Sisterlocks over Microlocs

In this video, I share a few reasons why I chose Sisterlocks over Microlocs. I have to admit that it was not an easy decision for me and I went back and forth until I really sat down and dug deep and asked myself what I really wanted, not what was the most sensible, or the most responsible decision, but what I wanted deep down in my heart. I really wanted Sisterlocks and was trying to compromise when I got the Microlocs.

I had traditional locs for 7 years and got tired of them so I cut them off. After over a year being loose natural I realize I don’t like dealing with my hair and getting braids was damaging to my hair. I then started watching videos of sisterlocs and decided to go that route. I also did my research on microlocs. I didn't choose microlocs because I've always desired sisterlocks and I didn't want to make the wrong decision since I don't plan on going back to loose natural again.

I love the consistency of sisterlocks even the fact that their presentation video they use today is the one recorded in the 90s or whatever. People complain saying it's outdated but to me, it represents consistency.

gosh...you are so beautiful...and I LOOOOVVVEEEE your sisterlocks! I'd love to be able to pull off any locs. Even as a little girl I wanted braids So bad and as I've gotten older and know more of the different styles, I started wanting any locs. I find them to be so beautiful.

Hi Anny! One of the reasons why I chose SL over microlocs was because the price of the microlocs was a couple hundred dollars less than the SL. so I figured, "why not go with the name brand" 🤷🏾‍♀️😆 thanks for this video ❤❤❤

Right… the guy in my area charges 1000 for microlocs! So I opted for sisterlocks. That and I prefer the grid. My appt is next month 🙌🏾🙌🏾

Yeah... That ressembles Sisterlocks pricing. I'm guessing it was probably interlocks.

I chose sisterlocks because I was looking for the versatility that comes with microlocs, but honestly I wouldn't oppose to having smaller microlocs.

I've never done it. I hope to never have to. But this is an individual thing. A lot of people with Sisterlocks do their own reties at least once in a while. I just don't want to.
