A one week food supply normally costs me $100. Living in a small apartment in California, I paid $443 for my last month gas/electricity bill, and I most of the time tried to avoid using my AC during the peak hours (16:00-21:00). It usually costs me about $250/month. I think I can live my best life there in DaNang.

Vietnam is one of the leading producers and exporters of consumer electronics in the world in 2023. Vietnam is the second largest exporter of garment and footwear in the world after China. More than 60% of Nike and Adidas' global products are manufactured in Vietnam. Vietnam is also the largest producer and exporter of agricultural products in Southeast Asia. Vinamilk and TH True Milk are the two largest organic milk producers in Southeast Asia. Vietnam in 2022 is the 7th largest trading partner of the US (123,86 billions USD) after China, Mexico, Canada, Japan, Korea, Germany above many US allies such as the UK, France, Italy, Australia, etc. and is also the 5th largest trading partner of China (230 billion USD) after the US, Japan, Korea and Russia. Basically the two real options is taking a flight from here to Bangkok the last time I did that it cost me $130 round trip. You would have to wait in Bangkok 3 to 5 days to get your new EVisa. You could pay an agent to expedite it same day for an additional 50 or $60 I believe it is. Your second option is to take a bus from here to Laos almost the same price but you get everything done in one day basically get on the bus at 6:00 in the morning and return back by 6:00 at night.

That's crazy I used to get a big tub of sour cream for about 3 bucks. But I wouldn't be surprised if the price jumped up a lot.

I was wondering what you’re doing there anyway? I’m gonna have to look at your videos and see if I can figure it out but I’m about ready to try it out for myself. I’m 60 years old. Been wanting to do this for the longest time but in Mexico But seeing all these videos about Thailand and Vietnam Bali, I want to experience that too

@@KarenLedesma-w8i yep I know. Which is why I'm very happy with how cheap it is to live here in Da Nang Vietnam. Basically all my bills every month come out to be less than $750 a month.

@@KarenLedesma-w8i I actually work online but I'm in the process of possibly making a move next year. I will make a video of it soon. I've been to 9 countries in Europe and nine countries in Asia, I really like Thailand especially Bangkok but it definitely cost more in Thailand than here in Da Nang.

Where can I find a good Visa strategy since we have to leave every 3 months?
@Willtravelz
@Willtravelz 3 ай бұрын
@@randyxray4404 there's basically only two options either fly out of the country and wait 3 to 5 days to get a new EVISA to return. Or you could take a bus to Laos and leave early in the morning and come back that same night. I have done both of those options already

You never mentioned "where" (how) you find the Apartments ..
@Willtravelz
@Willtravelz 3 ай бұрын
@@enzos711 shoot I didn't know I missed that. But how I found the apartment I been at for a while was by joining Facebook ex pat group in the city. Then I left a post on the group. A bunch of people messaged me and I negotiated with the owner and got a nice deal. The other apartments you seen k. The video I literally walked down the street and asked if they had anything available in my budget or I googled apartments in the neighborhood I'm staying in.

Been watching hotel and apartment reviews in DaNang. From what I've seen, pretty much should have enough to pay on the spot or lots of time, you'll lose the ability to get the place.......like in your case. But, I'm sure it will work out the way it's supposed to !

yeah in asia, we considred the cheese, milks, cream as premium, because that's not kind of a staple food here that people consume everyday. Most of Asians will have different meals, and it cheaps. Unlike for westerners, milk, cheese thats an everyday staple meal that they consumed daily. But yeah, thats the downside. coz i love milk. and cheese. :(
