So happy to hear that you’re doing better. Gives me hope too. I have been dealing with anemia really bad too for the past 3 years. I just got started on humira injections 4 weeks ago and will be starting on iron infusions next week. My doctor was the same, didnt tell me how to eat or let me know infusions and physio were an option for me. Found a better doctor now I’m hoping i’m on the upswing. Thanks for sharing your story my dude.

Hey scudpunk, I just want to let you know that I'm really happy to hear you doing better. I have had chrohn's over 12 years some of the worst days of my life. I literally went through every single thing you have gone through, anemia, blood transfusions, etc literally wasting away feeling helpless and the doctors just couldn't fix nothing. I had to get my large intestine removed that for me finally helped. I just want to give you some tips I have learned. The mental and some physical side affects remain, damage has been done, but you need healing on a deeper level. A complete change in environment is something that would drastically change you for the better. Your background it is dark and dreary, it represents the chaos that you have been through. Start with a clean slate man, you will be very happy you did so. Best wishes

This might get drowned out in hundreds of comments, but fuck it, I want to express my happiness to see that you are doing well. I have been wondering where you have gone, whether you were even alive and I gotta say, I almost teared up listening to this. Most of it could probably have been avoided if your doctor hadn't been a fucking assclown, but at least you're doing better now. As someone that has been struggling with depression and my own health issues (though not nearly as severe as yours), I just want to say - I'm glad you're alive. I'm glad that you have found something to look forward to, a future to walk towards and be able to set your own goals.
