Idom isn't kidding when he was talking about mfs not learning the fireball motion easily. I picked it up easy but i guess that makes me a fighting have genius because NONE of my friends understand it. I just give up on them and continue to grind. I think anyone that's truly good at fighting games can pick up any competitive game easily.

relative to the cast she's kinda wack since she doesn't have good ways to force pressure and flowchart her way to victory, her oki is mediocre too, but her buttons are good so a player with good footsies can make her work, her burnout loop is pretty good too. Most of the time you see iDom win is because he outneuched his opponent or he sent them to the corner during burnout and got a DI or an Anti Air combo when they eventually jump, he makes the game look simple honestly. being low tier in 6 is not that bad tbh, it isn't like an Alex in SF3 where he got no combos and his super can get punished on hit lol

You'd be surprised. There are a lot of players in Master who just use the same flowchart as in Diamond, but they're better at not getting hit and not making mistakes.

And guess what Idom you’re still playing right? Because your put time and effort into learning something and have a healthy respect 🫡 for the game. When you make anything too easy, no one wants that. That way M players come and go. Aka casual players. They just want a win button.

Do you thibk people weren't just coming and going before Modern??? Modern is strictly beneficial. You get a handful of folks that do enter the comp scene, a handful of folks who buy the games and are just casual online warriors and a whole lot of sales from people who just play it and drop it the same way they would any other game (because no one plays every game they buy forever, some are only short term investments and that is fine). If you want the genre to grow and thrive then you need more than just the militant hardcore crowd.

sure it's like breathing now, but i remember as a kid special moves not coming out and just straight wonkiness. might have been the precise requirements back then or that the controllers were bad.
