WHY I GOT THE 2018 KAWASAKI Z900 OVER OTHER NAKED BIKES

Motorcycles definitely come in all shapes and sizes…literally…and they all come with their own unique personality. These bikes tend to complement their rider and the person who chooses to ride it. With that being said, many variables play into what a person chooses when they are bike shopping. Variables include price, specs, and overall fun factor as well as logic in what the bike will be used for. This is why I decided on the Z900 over the many awesome naked bikes available to us today.
Hello and welcome to RET MOTO. This is a channel based on motorcycle’s and my general life on two wheels. You will see random riding vlogs, eat episodes where I explore new restaurants and eateries, and where I talk a little about my life training to be the best I can. Whether it be being proficient in weapons and lifting weight in the gym.
The channel will also include reviews of other bikes in my first ride segments, install video’s, and other experience on my bike(s).
Thank you for clicking on the video and I hope you subscribe.

The smoothest engine and clutch action of any motorcycle currently. Just got the 2020 edition and im happy as a clam :D Been Riding Honda VFR and Z800 for last 6 years. Its almost vibration free except some small tingle above 7000revs. Aprilia, KTM, BMW are like riding large vibrators :D

Agree on aftermarket parts. Seams 2017 model and 2020 model has same fitmets except the TFT-dash console. So there are retailers everywhere for z900 parts. I got engine covers, Frame protection, Givi topbox rack, sidestand fotprint extender, Ram mounts . Now i'm hunting for a bit larger screen.

The display is the ONLY think holding me back from buying one asap. For a bike this nice give me a pretty display. Heck, throw on a pseudo tft like the new R3.

@samiam5326 4 жыл бұрын
The display put me off too. It reminds me of an 80's Casio watch. Ha ha. This year's 2020 Z900 comes with a much more attractive instrument panel, second only to what BMW are using in their bikes at the moment IMHO. I'm going to have to take one for a test ride.

How do you like the naked bikes over sports bikes? I’m looking to switch from my ninja 400 to something bigger in the next year or 2, I decided I don’t want to go the classic sports bike route (400, zx6r) these naked bikes look like a blast.
@RETMoto
@RETMoto 3 жыл бұрын
They are definitely fun on the street, track, canyons, and mountains. I’ve even taken it on a 12 hour trip to another state and it was comfortable. I’ve had super sports before and I get exhausted after a few hours of riding. You can ride for hours on these naked. Good luck and thanks for watching!

I’m thinking of trading in my 2019 ninja 650 and upgrading to the z900 .. my question is what one is more comfortable on the highway? I rode my 650 on the highway today without the windshield to see how the wind was and it wasn’t all that bad , got use to it pretty fast
@RETMoto
@RETMoto 4 жыл бұрын
Mr710324 the z900 was a lot better because it had enough power to battle that wind when you’re on the highway. I used to own a 2017 Ninja 650 and didn’t like it on the highway as much as the Z900
