Veggie boys use a plastic mulch that is made out of corn starch and rots in 9 to 10 months and on the lift pins harbor freight tools has them cheap

Yes biodegradable plastic mulch, thank you for mentioning this... it also makes your soil have less plastic as corn and hemp plastic breaks down and made from stalk of plants

I know you don't like it but this year was awesome not picking up mulch. I ran my flail mower over the stalks then pulled the drip up. The bio mulch had the consistency of burnt newspaper. It vanished when I disced it. John-a-gold?????? That must be a great apple. Named after me. Trees are looking great.

Make your beds first, nice and shaped and tight. Then put mulch and don’t put an extreme amount of dirt on after. I find it better to have the beds nicely shaped wind won’t mess with them. And when it’s time to take it off just pull it by hand I do it this way and it’s super easy.I’m using 1mil and peppers where plastic is on for 8 months. Before I would have discs put so much dirt to where it was impossible to remove plastic

It’s good you muted the video during that plastic removal. My virgin ears would have been hurt by the cussing. LOL

Dre! That shit is an ecological disaster. Get on to organic farming and mulching!

Someone needs to develop a biodegradable plastic which lasts a year then can be chopped up into the soil where it would breakdown.

@@Digeroo123 Dre, I used to work on Svanholm Gods, largest organic farm in Denmark. We never used plastic and we grew 100Acres of veggies. Check it out on the web.. They have done it succesfully since 1978.

Just remember that farming methods are subjective. Most of the world has no problem buying conventional produce, and to many our methods are worth it. Some people prefer organic methods, but that’s up to each farmer to decide what’s right for our own operations

They actually make biodegradable certified plastic mulch now made from vegetables and hemp plastic mulch in testing.... 2 steps ahead boys.
