Don’t let all of your life’s stresses build up - you have a lot to deal with, so taking time for yourself makes sense. That is much better than burning out. Staying available for your mom is a priority, so enjoy that time with her. We viewers will survive without your videos, albeit with less enjoyment, but we’ll be here whenever you’re ready. I really enjoy your honesty, the down-to-earth thinking and the ways you express things, and your willingness to try things you haven’t done before in front of an audience. I enjoy living in Michigan with all it has to offer, and woods are what I enjoy the most!

I am glad you have taken a break, and I hope you continue to take more moments to enjoy your beautiful life without having to film it. Whatever brings you joy will be the best content. 😄So if you ain't feeling joy, time to fill up your own joy bucket first, and give yourself some quiet time, then the inspiration will come. I just love spending time with you virtually, you inspire me with every video. So whatever you do, I'll tune in. That being said, you asked, now...this may be waaay past where you are in your interest level, but I am an old lady, just considering my first baby steps back into camping, hiking, the wilderness, something I loved as a younger person, but got away from. I am not a joiner, I'm an introvert, so a local club won't work for me. I would love some videos covering any tips, tricks, or techniques on how to get back out there solo and have fun again, without fear or trepidation, or feeling the fear and trepidation and doing it anyway. I need some first steps. Hugs and admire you so much!

So glad you are taking care of your mom. I just lost my dad after caring for him over 22yrs. He had Alzheimer's, fell and broke his hip. But also had artery disease. But the fall took him away. Brooke, I enjoy your channel. Your adventures take me home. I'm originally from Northern Michigan. I left in 2011 and moved to Oklahoma. My dad had 10 acres of land east of Gaylord. When my step mom sold it after he passed away, I had no where to go and commune with nature. Sure I'd go to the lake or go for a drive but then I was injured and could no longer handle the weather of Michigan. So watching your channel, you take me home to the woods I enjoyed. Having said that, everyone needs a break to recharge. Life happens and you cannot avoid it. Just watching the fire, I imagine I'm sitting next to it. God bless you.

I love watching your outdoor activities. The small cabin and the A frame are my favorite locations plus the walled tent and the way you decorate are amazing. Just you and moose spending time outside. I'm happy watching you work with the trees, buck some logs, start a fire, drink cider, cook dinner! You could talk more about splitting wood (I went back to that same eclectic shop and bought a splitting maul) you've cut a lot of pine but it burns colder than other wood... is it just for a good campfire? I'm still rubbish at getting a fire going, no Birch near me. I meant to go collect some from a trail an hour from here, I know where there is some but the summer got away from me! Oh, and I've enjoyed watching your boy! Maybe you could get your girl to make us some fancy coffee drinks, have a show and tell! Love to you all! I watched Bushradical too, his build a wood shed.
