@ what I’m saying is , if you had mpc3 it will go back to mpc2 in controller mode . I have mpc3 in stand alone it’s MPC in controller mode it’s back to mpc2 .

What happens when you bounce out plugin tracks in controller mood and you save on your SD stand alone. Does it revert back to 3.0?

@ yeah but all the sounds from a 3rd party plugin won’t register . I made a beat using analog lab and kontakt when I loaded the project only the 3rd party plugins sounds were missing. I went to each track and hit sound and selected fabric and everything I played registered I went through multiple sounds from fabric, jura , hype , mini d until I found sounds that sounded okay. I made a beat on MPC 3 and use the mpc2 software it worked because I have all the plugins on the software that I have in standalone.

@@boomboombaby9140 have you tried bouncing out those 3rd party tracks to samples? And if I understand you right. I can do that and save on my SD card in controller mode. Then open the project back up in standalone and the project will revert back to 3.0. Is that right?

It’s so much better , simpler and a faster workflow. Hit new track and that’s it automatic programs , you also have 2 workflows to choose from . You can choose a daw like workflow or the classic MPC sequence workflow except you don’t have to worry about programs also you can turn any sound from a sound pack into a key group in a second. I have 11 gigs of sounds from Triton , Rolland,kontakt , ect that are like 1 shots select the sound and hit key group and play it like a plug-in effortlessly.

@@boomboombaby9140you can take a one shot and turn it into a key-group just as easily on 2.15. The graphics look great but as an Mp user for over twenty years, you have to learn a new workflow. I’m just not ready but have fun
