Is it NLL? And $15k? Most of those they I’ve seen are either $20k spend or LL.

@@LukesPointsandMiles I didn’t see a lifetime language on it but it’s for 20K spend in 3 months. 5K higher than the 15K threshold but this card isn’t for the frugal spender. I think if you’re someone who needs to do some home improvement projects, new roof, and stuff like that, it would be pretty easy to hit that spend.

There's totally a refresh coming. I spend pretty big on my business Platinum, and they sent me a paid survey last week asking my opinion about how I would feel about different scenarios of change on the Business Platinum. And one of the scenarios was the 35% rebate going away 😕 As someone who buys 5 tickets, not just one or 2- that rebate is extremely valuable to me, so I'm really hoping not 🤞🏼

Congrats on the new Biz Plat, Uncle Luke! I totally relate to reason 2. The fewer credits to manage, the better. When I applied for it, I had a transaction that would come close to, if not fully, completing the minimum spend. I felt that if I have this level of spend, this would be my only chance to get the card because I don’t think I’ll be spending that much in a short time period again anytime soon.

I wish I could hit the spend for this card...saw a 250k offer for $20k spend. I have a $5,500 work expense coming up I can put toward a new welcome offer, but that still barely makes a dent on that $20k for 3 months spend.

That’s awesome you got a NLL offer. I’m highly considering the Business Platinum especially with the 300k offer out there, but I might have to wait until December so I can pay my taxes in March and also lock in the $695 annual fee in case the refresh happens in January 2025

I’m waiting until July, when my Business Gold Card will be 1 year old, and hope they offer me an upgrade like this! When the AF fee posts, if I haven’t yet gotten an upgrade offer, I may call in to inquire about cancelling the card as I’ve heard the retention department sometimes will offer an upgrade alternative! Sounds like the 35% rebate is going away, makes me wonder if they'll axe the 50% on the Centurion. Still, you can't beat double dipping before the refresh with a bonus!

Yeah my main perks will be the bonus plus hopefully getting some extra benefits when it refreshes. Other than that I will only use it for the credits it has.

If you have a business, you may have expenses for the business. Business expenses are deducted from your revenue, possibly lowering your taxable income. Now if you don’t have a business or any business revenue then this might not apply.

I've gotten the business Platinum 3 separate times over 2 years as I was targeted with no life time language 2 times and got 3 sign up bonuses. I'm trying to hang on to this card to see if it is refreshed in 2025, but not sure. I am more of a fan of the personal platinum
