Very genuine feedbacks. I feel the same. I moved to Germany 7 months ago. I feel trapped here because my friends back home in India are very happy that I'm minting money in Europe nicely. But I honestly miss India and Germany is good but it just doesn't feel like home! One thing I understood very well in these last 7 months is "THERE IS NO PLACE LIKE HOME, THERE IS NO BETTER PLACE THAN INDIA FOR INDIANS" No matter what you change in yourself, no matter how much you earn and try to integrate. You will always have an empty feeling in a foreign country

i commend your will to take that decision. you are very lucky to identify the problem. Usually married men with families comes to realization when their kids grow up and thats when it hits them. The reason why it is difficult for a family person is because the family is like an unit and you tend to feel that external things don matter much as you are in a closely knit envelope of near and dear ones. The bachelor people realise this real time when they go to dating market and thats when they are made to realise that they are different or the people they are involved with are different. So being a family man, if you have taken a decision like that really give us a breath of fresh air. Would like to chat with you sometime in detail as these are very nuanced thoughts and very difficult to articulate.

I stayed in many European countries for job but i didn't like any one including Australia. I had decent package (IT engineer) but still never a day passed without missing the chaos of India, the peace in vegetable buying from thela, the colorful advertisement and hoarding, colorful dresses, the noise of construction honking, the joyous weddings, festivals and company of friends. The sense of belongingness while acknowledging we as country do have some areas which can be improved. I hated the depressing towns of Europe, the individualism. I choose to earn less and be happy with family rather than live a overhyped life just to do showoff to friends and relatives.

I have lived in Stockholm Sweden for last fifty years, I belong originally from Pakistan but born in Kenya! I like your comments and common sense, most of foreigners struggle to build their new identity and want to identify themselves with swedes or any other European countries which means that they have to throw a part of their emotional roots to become one of them but the question is what is the emotional strength these scandinavians have ? most of them have still viking effects which means food, shelter and body muscles etc Our main joy comes from sharing and caring ..

I was in Sweden from sep 14- Dec 16 .now back since 2018 Similar issues . especially the vit d , b12 etc deficiency and missing family , food, festivals , human affection and smiles that even the maid or shopkeeper gives. Now just waiting when the better half says , that it's done . Technically everything is amazing about Sweden, it's people, yet as an Indian you end into existential crisis . Moreso if you are coming from bigger cities. Seriously if we stop running after money , but about happiness, find jobs we love, give our best in it, and get peace, No country can give what India gives. Trust me. If you have seen the movie Shershah , there is a dialogue that do what you want to do , not what others want you to do . Then you can keep everyone happy .

@@ch.ankit_estonia9124 Fun fact - so many complicated diseases including depression, cancers, vertigo - things never heard in India : are due to lack of these primary nutrients. Indian bodies are much nimble compared to European bodies which have stronger survival instinct. So as an Indian we need to eat healthier and workout more,de-stress more to keep up with European survival rate. So in reality life isn't better for Indians in Europe. Better to make India better.

May be it is related to Sweden , but I stayed in USA for 5 years then I left USA due to similar reason and came back to India . However , staying in India made me realize that I can not fit in this society anymore due to following reasons 1. No body follows any rule. 2. No body follows line , everyone is trying to get ahead of another person by cheating/ditching 3. No value of educated tax paying Salaried person , until or unless you are a politician or a person with good connections 4. auto driver hit my car intentionally to get ahead and then cursed me. Cops did not take any action. 5. Everywhere you have to bribe otherwise govt employees will torture you to death while getting any small work done 6. No value of time 7. No value of warranty given by any product or company. Within warranty companies try to steal more money , saying this feature was not covered under warranty 8. Customer service is pathetic 9. Can not compare public transport of India with any of these developed nation . 10. Nothing comes in return from the amount of tax I am paying. 11. Govt school does not have high standard of teaching and even govt hospital is in pathetic condition which are ran by our tax money 12. Every time I felt that I will be cheated or deceived by someone 13. Office culture is also different. Managers try to get involved in our personal life to know why I am taking leave even though I have abundant paid leaves are remaining. 14. There is a rat race among young school kids to be on top. everyone is studying to death to get a job abroad or study abroad. Actually there are more lists . Now I regret my decision. But I am lucky to get a job opportunity in another developed country and I will never make this mistake. Some people can live life happily in India , but for me , I could not accept these factors . This is just my two cent , please don't take this as an argument . Everyone is entitled to believe their own opinion.

Totally agree with ur opinion.. In India it’s all about survival of the fittest. We pay hell lot of tax but nothing in return except poorly built roads, below par schools, bribing govt hospitals etc. Ppl with good money & political contacts are the benefited ones. Common man always end up on the losing side..!! I had the same loneliness feeling few years back & returned to India leaving my high paying job in Dubai. Not sure if I should follow my passion or just come back to India cause I miss the country so damn much! 😅 I know this is more of a philosophical question, but wouldn't following your dream has to come before everything else?? Sorry if this is too long or too much information but after watching your video it felt like I was talking with a big brother!

I am staying in Abroad from Approximately 2 years now in 2 different countries like UK and Germany I think I have another school on thought on this opinion My question would be what is meant by Quality of Life just dont confuse it with Quantity of Life Yes you may prolong you life duration In Europe by more 4 to 5 years let's take an example average life span of India is Around 67 years while in Europe we can live around 72 years but the question is still the same you improved the Quantity or duration not the quality Yes you can say work life balance is much better than India bla bla so I get the time to spend in travelling or with family or friends etc so only spouse and kid is not family there are our responsibilities towards our parents or toward each and every relative or friends back in India who supported us in our bad phase most often we tend to forget it so increasing duration of you life is different but quality of life according to me is spending time with your loved ones, celebrating festivals to the core meeting your friends and relative more frequently dealing with every bit of ups and downs together rather than just sitting on an European couch and advising from there on a video call what to do

So many people living in the country n settled in abroad say so much negative things about India n few might be correct as well BUT Desh apna h iski problems bhi apni h..pure world me Bharat ki jo Jagah h jo Samman h jo Pyar hai wo kisi aur desh ka nhi..no matter how many problems are there but it’s also the fact that we are progressing, that we still celebrate the hope, happiness n the achievements, whole world is stunned to witness. I feel proud when i see anyone for that matter make our head held high in front of the other nations or people when they try to defame us. Seems so relatable.. living in AUS even with plenty of sunlight and many amenities. What I have seen here is even Indians don't prefer talking to other Indians if they don't know them through job or other close connections. The medical system is painfully slow and unfulfilling in most cases . Definitely not free any more here and simple things like visiting a dentist or meeting any specialist ( skin , gastro etc etc ) will cost you a decent amount. Overall not a great scenario as shown by Visa agents in India. Only thing is if u find a high paying job.. get it , earn the money n then life is somewhat better than India

No matter which country you pick, you will not get the same conditions. In London it rains almost everyday which was depressing in the beginning to be honest but it is upto person to person how to manage that and prepare your mind for all this. The school textbooks are full of vulgar porn. I paid a lot of money to put my child in a private Christian school. After grade 12, we left for India. @Va K It mite have to do the swedish people which is totally opposite to India's. Swedish and other nordic people are very reserved. They can come accross as shy, awkward and cold. They don't make eyecontact, greet, smile or talk to stranger. They don't really express their emotions like indians do. It's like they are lacking emotional awareness. And for an expat it is almost impossible to form friendships with swedish people. So to an indian who comes from a culture that expresses emotions and have more human interactions..it can feel quite lonely and depressing when living in Nordic countries. As a caribbean lady living in a nordic country..I have experienced it myself. I feel if he had moved to a country where people are friendly and warm towards eachother..than he mite not feel the need to look for other indians so he could feel more like "home".

First point on weather- perfect. Winter is an issue but if you understand what others do, you would liove winters. It is not that you dont step out. If you dont step out you would feel no one goes out. Winter is for winter sports and people enjoy it. I never learnt anything in India, so I feel it is too late to learn as I dont want to break my bones. But a walk in that snow is amazing. When temp is minus 20 or so you can always use your car to go wherever you want to. Also, for our skin, we need more vit D compared to the locals so that we are not depressed in winters.

Addition to this, It is easier to work in Sweden for both parents because day care system is very good for children. And sick leave for child is also no issue, its called VAB. Opposite to this in India it can be very difficult for both the parents to work in private jobs. Day care in India is too expensive and who wants to give load of their children to the old and aging parents, its a very tedious task. Can I also mention the working hours in both the countries? For most of the private jobs its too relaxed and flexible and almost no one is forced to work for extra or long hours. After 6 pm its just your family time with partner and kids. Can it be true in India as well? @Hemant Dubey just to make videos you are making some very false points about Sweden. Atleast dont misguide people.

@@awarenessaboutyourself7871 In India also no one is forced to work for longer hours, that trend is changing, if work culture is not good, people switch job, there are several opportunities in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune. In India switching job is easier than foreign countries. Also India time might end little late like 8 PM but work also starts late by 11 AM.

@@deepakjain9073 Alright there might be some cases, but nit in majority. Working conditions in india are incomparable than in Sweden. For various reasons of course. One is in India you are easily replaceable.

What about the childcare and education system, its totally corrupt in India. Why should parents spend a fortune to send their children to a decent school, shouldn't it be there basic right to good education? Please answer this as well as this 1 of the major reasons why people chose to live outside of India, and this is not addressed properly in the video.@@deepakjain9073

Sweden is happy with Swedish people I mean the people of Nordic origin. But an Indian may not feel the same level of happiness there. Happiness is a matter oozing out from someone's inner feelings and may not be limited to materialistic achievement in life...
