The first zelda i played was Link To The Past. This made it even more fun for me. I LOVED IT! It makes me wish i still had a DS.

Indeed, this is my favorite ending of all the Zeldas. Really warms my heart!

as someone who had it as his first zelda as a 10 year old, I don't mind that this video is biased.

Link between worlds may not be my favorite Zelda game but it does have my favorite Zelda character of all time in it

My only complaint in this game is the low probability of Shadow Link appearing in either the desert arena or the lava arena, without which you cannot fulfill the "Win After Using Ravio's Bracelet" achievement.

It's a great game, the first top-down/2D Zelda title I'd managed to beat, and I've been too busy with BotW and TotK to put any time into other Zelda games and beat Link to the Past, Link's Awakening(DX or Switch), or the Oracle games. Someday I'll take the necessary time to play them from start to finish, but for now, there's Koroks to torture, shrines to beat, and monster parts to farm.

They say everyone's favorite Zelda is the first one they played. But my first was ALttP and I still might pick A Link Between Worlds as the one I want to replay the most if I had to choose. Not a huge BotW or TotK fan, and a lot of the 3d zeldas are too railroady. A Link Between Worlds really hit a sweet spot, I just wish they had made the dungeons, bosses, etc more complex and difficult, I never really got stuck or struggled with resources while playing it which tarnishes an otherwise perfect game.

Game is so excellent, with an amazing world, top tier dungeons, and an ingenious traversal method with the painting mechanic. Top 5 game of all time easily for me

just started playing this again, never beat it but i’m going to now. it’s so fucking good. i can’t believe it’s talked about SO little. my only critiques: the movement is broken. if you walk directly in any direction, link walks at a slight angle. if for whatever reason you wanted to play with something like a snes controller without analog control, it would be unplayable. the “Why Not Take a Break” thing gets a little annoying. it’s hardware locked to the 3ds, meaning bad resolution, touchscreen implementation, streetpass implementation, etc. lastly, the resources are kind of imbalanced. they throw a lot of money and other stuff at you a lot, so later in the game when you get a chest of 5 rupees or monster guts it’s much less impactful. all pretty much fine; though i do wish they’d port it to switch really bad. i’d pay full price for a basic upres.

I've only ever played it on original hardware so I'm not really bothered by most of those (the break thing is pretty annoying but the trick is to just not save the game after every Dungeon), a switch port would be absolutely amazing though

Hate to tell you but the original Legend of Zelda allowed players to go wherever they wanted and whatever dungeon they wanted too.. sure they would be difficult but you could do them in any order.
@Noah4Life Жыл бұрын
That's false, actually. Sure, it's not in exact order but you have to do certain dungeons before others, 3 before 4, 4 before 5&6, 5 before 7, etc. The only time you need to do this in ALBW is the Thieves Hideout to be able to rent/buy the sandrod before the Desert Palace
