I do advanced ballet currently but instead of going into ballet I'd like to go into beauty and still do ballet back stretches to help my back if I decide to go into it.

I immidiately like this video as yes, i thought about it over and over again about my degree. I have degree but why on earth i apply for beauty therapist. Is it because i like practical things more or i like the not too office like environment? I do sometimes feel i am low than my friends as they have degree and they are lucky that they have guidance to better job and life but keep on putting me down with the jobs that i can get into so far. I do have degree but in search for job that i think may be suitable with me even if it is beauty therapist or kindergarten teacher. Not to mention nearest to my current home. Meeting up with them and getting the look of "The one friend that will never be something/good life" is definitely a struggle. For old times sake, i agree to have lunch or dinner with them if they r on holiday but not for long hours as i feel tired to answer their questions and listen to how perfect their life. Feels like its just a dinner or lunch and not bonding. Anyway. Love this video

Brazeauty by Kari Gilligan Hii there are some beauty clinics which will accept a Level 3 Beauty Therapy diploma because it includes facial and body electricals and the electrical epilation modules. But now the majority of beauty clinics require a Level 4 Laser Hair Removal and Skin Rejuvenation diploma because a lot of them provide laser treatments and need this qualification from you. If you search for jobs online in beauty clinics that you like the look of, the job advertisement will give you an idea of what they are looking for x

Thanks for posting this. Hope you don't mind this long comment but i could really do with some advice..I did a beauty course for two years and received cibtac and a reflexology diploma. I thought it would suit me but i dont know if i'm good enough with people. I'm currently doing art and piano, because i'm not sure if this career would really suit me. I also am no good at make up or nails, but i have always loved giving people massages, and i love giving facials.

Quick question,how far into your course did you do waxing? I start on Tuesday but it’s my birthday the week after (im going out) and really don’t wanna be all hairy (my body hair grows pretty fast) can i shave or should I leave it? X

We were taught waxing towards the end of the course maybe around 5 months in. Ermm if you are just starting waxing the students probably won't even wax you properly because they are learning so I would recommend waxing again a couple days before you go out so that your skin can rest. You can shave instead if you want but it's your birthday so don't leave it - go for it :) enjoy! x

The LCBT website says you qualify (to do the apprenticeship) if you don't have a degree/ completed a year or more at University. However, you completed your degree and then worked at LCBT right? Or did you do the course option instead of apprenticeship?

@@melisatesbel it helped my sister's wrists when she could barely pick up a coffee cup without pain and when when physio didn't work she tried Bowen therapy and her wrists feel much better and I haven't heard her saying anything about pain in her wrists for quite awhile
