You are a man after my own heart. You summarised the Paj perfectly. Brilliant on tar, more than capable off road. Like you, I believe the Toyota's are probably better offroad, but I too just want to get somewhere and not drive ruts and rocks. As a standard vehicle, awesome. I have no lift, no bull bar but have a great time offroad and have set up for overlanding. Greetings from Oz across the Indian Ocean, have a castle for me

I have had my Pajero IV for 11 years and I love it. Got a great garage to look after it and handle services and so on. Parts are expensive, but massive so they last. After 205' kms. there's a leakage in my aircon system, but I will change all the pipes. No point in welding holes oone by one. I haul a caravan for 3-4 months a year and drive through snow for another 4 months. The car goes everywhere - almost!

I don;t think we will see a new "full blood" Pajero / Shogun ever again. It will become softer in future. The Pajero frame is to exspensive to make and that leaves very little money for bells and whistles. So the car is "under equipped" compared to the competition. Thanks for watching, Regards Hendri.

@waza33504 жыл бұрын
@@CampX4 Yep, I really don't uderstand why people overprice the price of Toyota so much. Ok it's realiable as hell but omg the aftermarket price... The direct competitor to the V6 Pajero in Dubai is the Prado. To have a decent version (4.0L) and a not so old model you will need sometime to pay more than 2 time the price of a decent 3.8 Pajero so more than $20 000. Sometime people really don't act reasonably. It's almost as the same thing with Apple and android phone 😅

Thanks for the review, if one can call it that. A lot of talk about the Mitsubishi without actually saying that much about it. Tell us why in more detail why it’s such a good SUV. To compare this vehicle with the 78/79 Landcruiser is a bit misleading. A better comparison would have been a Prado or Patrol , and comparing their respective pros and cons. I think a Defender or some other work horse is a more appropriate comparison with that model Landcruiser.

I have done a lot of Km on the Beach and this care did this without problem. If you earn one and you understand haw to use it you will see that the Pajero is a very good offroader and on road car.
