man that dungeon was a true trial of endurance. I spent all my healing and mana items between the crossroads and the actual anvil but it felt amazing

Is it worth finishing? I finished 2, inquisition and now veilguard. Multiple times. But origins I never completed. I got to the part where you have to visit multiple places, I do the sacred ashes one then drop the game idk why

@@XxsorafanI’m gonna definitely say yes just because it’s one of my favorite games ever. I was 13 when it came out I think and played it so many times. It’s a little challenging because it’s an older game but that’s where you gotta find the joy in it. Take your time with it don’t rush, customize your party however you want, enjoy the story. It’s a slower pace combat but I love the slower “strategy” paced combat. So much to explore.. I could go on but just give it a try. The only part I really don’t like is the circle of magi quest line all the other ones are really good.

@@Xxsorafanfor example in this video this dude is a dual Weird warrior with 3 party members you could of went into this area with a totally different party with a archer warrior build. I love the fact that I can do that with the customization.

@@daisybunnino it's not same for origins. Bosses like: ogres, broodmother, dragons have completely different takedown for every melee weapon, while regular enemies also have two/three different takedown. While in veilguard you are stuck in a two animations loop no matter if you're fighting a weak ghoul or an archdemon.
@bartosz31538 күн бұрын
@@daisybunninot to mention the fact that in origins thanks to an actual functional companion system you are able to see animations for other weapons that they wield, whereas in Veilguard if you play as for example rogue all you can watch for the entirety of the game is two animations. If you want to see more you have to start a new game or just watch a yt video.

I loved dual wielding warrior in DA:O to bad they did not keep them for the others.
@icepic21 Жыл бұрын
Much as matching weapon types is the most feasible means of maximizing damage and attack, seems to be mainly either dual wielding swords, dual wielding daggers, or having the Duncan style (and tbh, realistic style) of sword n dagger. But what about dual wielding axes (for max critical hits), or dual wielding maces (for max armor pen)? Or, even mixing up the types to fit the situation? Thats why i always admired Dual-Wielding warriors. Paired with their warrior tree and the right Specializations, they can bring the lightning-quick lethality to the field, without needing to backstab like a rogue.
@stbklzcczzlv711211 ай бұрын
but anyway they make their craft, moreover, don't forget the maiming skill or if you play the Golems of Amgarrak campaign, there is a 4th tree for 2 weapons and there it is already written about attacking the lower, vulnerable, sensitive places and dishonestly. There it kind of relies on the fact that the 2 weapons are mainly for the rogues.. Sure, the warrior can play with them, but it's just unusual or non-standard, it's more focused on the rogue.. :) The warrior is mainly a weapon and shield or two-handed and with the expanded skills for 2 weapons, I would already have a problem as an honest warrior, the same poisons (also warrior can use poisons), you still don't feel honest, but guilty, in addition, when you have 2 weapons on your back, it doesn't look very good aesthetically, designally either, you just look like a murderer and everyone no will know right away that you are a warrior and not a rogue.. :D

The issue is attack speed is slower with other things than a dagger. This plus backstab and higher crits makes dual daggers rogues the great DPS in the game. Buuuuut, that will only really mather on higher levels. And if you're min-maxing and pause-playing often, you'll still win the game easily, even on nightmare, regardless of that.

The highest damage possible for dual weapon is two Veshaile or whatever they are called the crit axes you buy at camp

@Enraged_Sandal13 күн бұрын
Vielguard lacks any Identity as a game. Anything that was good in any DA game is present in Vielguard as washed down version of it. Also "Superior"combat compared to what exactly ? I've seen mobile games looking more interesting and in-depth. But I'm not gonna waste time arguing about it with a person on the internet. Let's just agree to disagree.

@Enraged_Sandal Bold opinion from someone who hasn't even played the game themselves lmao. And we were talking about Dragon Age games, so compared to previous entries, obviously. Maybe since you hate the game (that you haven't even experienced) you can focus on games you actually like and stop trashing Veilguard in every DA KZbin video you come across? Just a thought.

I played much of tge RPG classic in reverse order (starting from DAO, then bg 1-2, temple of elemental evil and finished at NWN 1) and it was mind-blowing how long it took to make party RPG with normal control over your party. TOEE: cant control your party members at all, they tend to steal all the best loot and then sit on it constantly being over-encumbered. NWN 1: again, can't control your henchman, so he usually dies running through a trap you could see from a mile away. NWN 2: finally can control your party members but can't control their class DAO: can control party members, can control what specialization they get (Wynn as the battle mage? Yes, please, i always wanted to see how frail granny kicks an ogre in the nuts). Like, why it was so hard to understand that non-controllable party members just ruin all the fun?

I’m more of a two handed warrior kind of guy, as well as a mage kind of guy. Although the dual wielding warrior could have used two swords/two axes/two maces instead of one sword/axe/mace and one dagger, that’s something a Rogue would do.

@@spectralassassin6030 Back when I played that game, I noticed that most warriors, as well as any of my wardens, use a both a sword/axe/mace and dagger instead of two weapons. Thankfully there are other RPGS that let me dual wield both weapons instead of a left handed dagger such as Skyrim, Baldur's Gate 3 and White Knight Chronicles 2.
