It will be useless to consume knowledge if we cannot apply the knowledge we gain from the knowledge. Also, talk about music for focusing and concentration, then problem-solving in mathematics, computer programming, introvert vs. extrovert vs ambivert mindsets, logical/computational thinking, mind/puzzle games, and brain-related content of the human mind's personalities/characteristics. Things that i will apply for myself from this video: - consistent waking up time - classical conditioning for where u sit and study - dont say "i have to study.....", say "i get to study...." - focus on what tasks u have to do today rather than worrying about the long term bigger picture task

I can study anywhere, even upside down, as long as I'm warm. One of my favourite study places was when my daughters were in the indoor swimming pool and I was in the cafeteria next to it, which was warm like a sauna.

I have been consistent w/ 8 hrs per day (except for Sunday), thinking about 12 hrs/day. I have a system, though eagerly waiting for your video on this.
@ZachHighley4 жыл бұрын
Yeah 12 is a lot I usually am at around 8-10, when I start step 1 studying I’ll be at around 11.
If I get 8 hours of sleep, eat healthy, exercise, shower, etc., I have just a short period of time left for study. One can never win the game.
@joelgill8923 жыл бұрын
In my experience, it’s really about how you optimise your time. If you prioritise studying and put it on as high a priority as sleep, for example, you could win the game. Also, if you’d like, I’d recommend the book “Code of the extraordinary mind”. It’s changed my life and I believe it can help you too. Stay safe, happy and blessed :)

I agree with mindset theory I started writing down a list of what I needed to study and what I needed to do each day and so because I had a plan, a goal you reach it. Not just studying the first thing you see.

Hi Zach, Am really grateful that I stumbled across this in the recommendations that KZbin gave. Its also quite amazing how you making time to put this together whilst studying for your medical work. The world does need more doctors like you who live healthfully and then are rewarded with the health that enables them to do the work well. All the best with the rest of med school and you have my subscription. You also have my prayer support because I believe in the power of a God of love who is also the source of wisdom and knowledge. Blessings!

The problem for me isn't that I don't know how to study. I mean, I know all these tips. The problem is that going to sleep at a good time, exercising just to study for 10h/day is just so fucking boring. I don't want to live my life like that. Study until my soul gets sucked out of me only to work in some mundane-ass office for the rest of my life. Anyone feel the same?
@Tuath6664 жыл бұрын
If you don't like it, don't do it. You cannot sustainably force a life like this on you. Focus on your goal and if that doesn't justify the work, maybe you might want to consider a different goal. There's no point in doing any of this, if you don't even want to
