Haven’t started metaphor yet because I knew I wouldn’t finish it before Ys 10 comes out and I’ll absolutely be playing this day 1!

You can't even pre-order it on the ps5 yet. And you can't find it in the upcoming games either, you have to search for it. They really aren't pushing the game at all.

So happy you mentioned Ys V. Ys V is my personal second favorite Ys game, I hope so bad it gets a remake with this new duo battle system! It really really needs a good remake. The story and music in Ys V is amazing and the gameplay was reminiscent of FF II which I really liked.

This games takes place off the coast of Gllia though, so no Scandinavia setting.

Right in front of the final boss of Ys 8, I'll definitely be starting 9 right after and getting to 10 when I complete everything (probably late November haha) But super excited, it looks very satisfying and enjoyable

I was sitting in the 2nd row on the right hand side of the room, literally 10 feet behind Kondo, as he played the demo for Ys 10 at Anime Expo this summer and the game looked fun as hell there. I got to play it for a bit at the NISA booth at the expo, and the gameplay is fun and fluid. This will be a day 1 purchase for me, as I am always going to do whatever I can to support Falcom games.

Not to be pedantic, but in IRL history the Normans were actually Vikings themselves. Their name is just Old French for Norsemen. The only difference between them and thr Danes they kicked out of England was how much they'd assimilated.

I am super excited for this game. Feels like it's been decades since we last had a YS release. Though its only been a few years but I can never fill my Ys void. I always need more.

Totally looking forward to Ys X!! Collectors edition pre-ordered and shelf is ready for it's newest edition. Future problem, when Ys III / Oath is released next spring....more shelving for the shelf god required 😂

I am VERY excited for Ys X Nordics. I've ordered it early, but site says I won't get it til Nov 4th rather than on the 25th which is the release date.

I noticed you didn't make a Ys 10 video yet but I feel you. I took a week off from work for it, but the insane pricing.. They were absolute m-words (you never know what youtube decides to autohide your comment over) when it came to pricing. Lowest tier at $66, like a freshly released AAA game, complete tier at $144? what the hell were they thinking? They're not GTA or Final Fantasy, and even thhose I wouldn't buy at such prices (but I know people who would) I spent my week off replaying Ys 8, and I will maybe get 10 once it hits massive sales. idgaf if that takes years. So be it.

I still have 2 Ys games to play until I am done for now. Will play Ys X next though since it is earlier in the timeline. I still gotta play more of Harvestella though. I am in chapter 4 right now. I just need to level my jobs first. Very good game though. I really like the animals. And my favorite weapon is the gun. I love gun. Gun is amazing. It was the one class I wanted. Will may play Ys X when it arrives next week. It still hasn't been shipped yet sadly.

I also think this new combat system would be great for a Ys 5 remake, while having Dogi in your party as well. Lol, I know what you mean, it's good to hear Cherami Leigh's voice again!😁 Lol, it feels like I'm playing Sword Art Online if you know what I mean.😉

NISA and Falcom don't do digital preorders, but they do make digital sales, there should be the just released demo up now though if you look

Ys VIII is the only Ys game I've beaten so far, I cant wait to play this game on my nintendo switch

Started with ys7 only which was incredible and played but stopped ys8 apparently it gets better with time since everyone says it has the best story even better than 9 so didnt get that yet and weirdly 10 is already coming time flies! Do you recommend playing any of the earlier games though? Or maybe only if they got remakes but what is the most popular ys game is it the new ones? Probably ys8 right

Ys 8 is likely the most popular game overall, but there are plenty of older titles that are considered classics. I do recommend playing earlier games if you can, Ys 4 had its remake in the style of Ys Seven called Memories of Celceta. Ys 3 is getting a remaster releasing called Memoire Oath of Felghana. They may feel different than 7,8, and 9 but not too much and the games are still a lot of fun.

I completely forgot Romancing Saga 2 was this month as well. Probably won't pick it up with everything else around, but I do want to play a Saga game at some point.
