She's basically the sl4ve, she does all the labor, but he doesn't pay her anything more than letting her eat the food and live in HIS house. When she's malfunctioning (e.g. demands equity, or compensation for her work, including 401k, claims that half of his goods belong to her as well, or expects him to validate her feelings, support her and build the relationship) he can just replace it with another family, usually a younger, more prone to manipulation one robot wife, where he can continue on cultivating the entitlement. Just like you wish your laptop will work if you paid for it. Psychologically impaired men do not know love, they weren't properly loved and valued as a human being, and they can't form a deep intimate relationship with another person, it's very sad. They try to imitate the social norms but in a narcissistic, materialistic way, because they need others to perceive them as normal, worthy men, and every worthy man has a family of his own.

My brother in law was like this guy. His third wife was from the Philippines. She was exactly as expected until after the birth of their son. At the point, the gloves came off, and she would scream the house down unless she got whatever she wanted. She spent his savings on a new house in the Philippines for her parents, designer clothing and accessories, trips back to the Philippines (he had to pay ransom to get his son back home again), and she insisted they move to a city with a climate as close the the Philippines as possible and where there is a large Filipino community. He is now looking down the barrel of an old age spent in poverty with an angry partner. The idea that all women from "traditional cultures" will be silent and obedient is laughable, to say the least.

Because it's a lot of work to be done on men's side, and to start doing this, you'd actually need to acknowledge you've been terribly fooled and you're not that entitled as you had been taught. Most people aren't ready for self-actualization, especially when it involves humbling themselves and taking accountability for how we contribute to the toxic society. And last step, it's very hard to find someone who already did that, or is from a healthy home, to form a relationship without huge emotional intelligence disparity. Women used to accomodate men for that as they've been socialized to do the emotional labor for others, but not anymore. A lot of women deliberately stop doing that and our relationships break on a massive scale. Women have done their work and have higher standards because of it, most men still haven't done the work and aren't even interested in admitting it's the case. So in the meantime, blaming women for their failure is a defensive mechanism until it pupates into a truly good man who can be a partner, or women's killer like some incels.

Not necessarily. A lot of Filipina women in Australia also work (often poorly paid jobs) but they are contributing to the family income. Or I can think of a Zimbabwean nurse who married a man who abused his first, white Australian wife. The husband (who has a criminal record involving fraud) then pulls all the favourite abusive husband tricks like "I'll fix your car," which basically means it's off the road indefinitely, so then "I have to drive you to work," so she can't see other people on her way to and from work. And, of course, he won't let her go to the African festival where she might meet other people. As she's a nurse, she's earning a decent income, as I remember it, she's probably the main income source in that relationship.

@@resourcedragonThat’s kind of not the point, while yes there are other cultures where Women work. A lot of Men don’t like the fact that Women in America prefer to work, accusing us of “being too career oriented”. But then you get the Men where being a provider for them is more than what they can do handle, so, they want 50/50, but it’s not 50/50 since Women can work two full time jobs and keep the Men happy as much as they expect. For that to work, the Men have to do more around the house relieving the Woman’s burden. And a lot of them don’t want to do that. The difference is, overseas, the Women will work to an extent, but much of their expectation is that the man be provider to and extent, while she focuses mostly on the home, however, most American Men don’t make enough money HERE to be provide the comfort a lot of foreign Women may be looking for. American economy is harder than Foreigners think. The money would go longer overdress than it does here. So, a lot of Women will likely be less submissive with American Men, since they aren’t going be able to provide as well as would be expected.

As a girl from EU who just got married to a guy from the US, I can tell you, I'd NEVER want to date or have anything to do with someone who's actively searching for a woman, "From another country." That's a huge red flag imo. This is how it should be: “When I marry it will probably be to a non American because I travel a lot or spend a lot of time in social circles with non Americans because of (my job, my neighborhood, my hobbies)” Being in a position and knowing the odds is a lot different than fetishizing other cultures or a particular stereotype being attractive to you. My (misogynistic) dad is from a developing country, and he used to make jokes about how he had to come here and marry an American woman to get away from the women in his country "who always have to be the boss." And then I realized it wasn't a joke. My mom bent over backwards for him, and he only did things for her when he felt like it, and it was never what she actually asked for. He would throw tantrums when things weren't how he wanted, and then expect my mom to pick up the pieces and change everything for him. A long time ago, I warned him he'd lose her if he didn't start acting right. A few years later, she left him. I am so proud of her. I don't think my dad will ever learn. I had a talk with him after she left, and he sounded like he really wanted her back. I told him things I felt he could work on, if he really loved her and wanted to show he cared. I'm not sure if he was incapable, unwilling, or both, but he failed miserably.

Do you feel the same way about women who may be interested in (assuming your heterosexual)? If you feel that you want to connect with a partner based solely on who they are as a person, then looks and her being older shouldn't matter to you either. And if they cannot expect you to provide, you should not expect that you can get the currency of sex/free labor from them either, as you're claiming you're just interested in connecting with them as a person because they have an awesome personality. Fun fact: If you're claiming this, you should not have a personal list of wants in a partner like beauty, youth, sex, and labor when you're saying your partner is not allowed to have her own list. Newsflash, we all have a list of traits we want in a partner, this is called desirability. Our partners are human beings, so they will, and are allowed to, have one too. Why else are you attracted to some individuals and not others but for these additional traits (otherwise you're just defining friendship)? They have to, at minimum, be meeting at least one trait you find desirable, whether that's she has a pretty face or a nice body or friendly demeanor, she's funny, etc... Please understand that your partner is human too, has needs, wants, and desires too. If you can not understand this, you shouldn't be trying to get a partner yet, as you're not emotionally ready. Most guys that say things like this are just trying to say, I hope woman don't expect anything out of me, as I don't feel I have anything to really offer, and/or you're unwilling to work on yourself. It shows a lack of confidence, so my suggestion is to start becoming the man you'd like to be. This doesn't mean becoming rich. This does mean becoming a man who you'd like to be based on values and principles. If you become a good man, and you show interest in others than yourself, this will naturally appeal to people, and you will start to attract women without trying so hard then. Learn to be the change you want to see in this world. And remember, that if you expect her to put in effort and work into herself and the relationship, so do you, otherwise your saying you just want a sex slave. Food for thought.

A lot of them now say it's better to date and marry Ukrainians, because they are submissive [that's a literal argument]. Not that I know several stories of good Ukrainian wives divorcing their Polish husbands after having Polish citizenship and being able to travel across the EU. Sometimes, when I feel lonely and sad for being single, I go for a walk and listen to young men talking with each other when I pass them by. @@carnevalmefisto Ukrainian women are seen as saints, until they actually marry them. Personally, I don't know any happy mixed couple, and when the war started, they were so keen on finding their "real slavic submissive experience". Ukrainian girls are harsh and they exactly know what they want lol. It's true, it's very hard to find a good Polish man. I don't know any. I thought I did (some of my uncles) but when their daughters grew up and we talked, it occured they're all just the same. I suspect some of my acquaintainces might be, or my neighbors (as I see a huge difference in how they treat their kids and wives) but this is how it looks from outside. When I talk with my girlfriends about their husbands, whom they love, it makes me really mad that they can be called good only in the male scale. In general scale, of being a partner, a parent, they can't compete. It's like you would have to compromise a lot and become someone's caregiver just so you can share your apartment costs with them. It sounds awful tbh. I have the same thoughts, in some age, the pool of good guys is shrinking, especially if you don't intend to have kids. The ones who were from healthy families probably are married by now, and those who ended up in a long-term toxic relationship but wanted to do the work, and did it, are in huge minority. There are very few self-actualized people in general, so statistically it's nearly impossible to find someone in 30s. Either in 20s (but then neither you know yourself and you MIGHT be lucky to find someone who wants to go on that journey with you and WANTS to put a lot of effort to be a loving mature human), or 40/50s when the divorce batch comes and they maybe have adult kids already.

If they want to spend all their money travelling to another country legally, learning another language, adjusting to a different culture, system, and possibly even religion, and commit to living and working legally somewhere, while paying their taxes and adhering to their laws, all in the name of love, that I wish them well. Because that's what they're doing, right? They wouldn't just travel across the globe and bring someone back to America, expecting them to adjust to his culture, his country, his religion, all because he big American man, right? Legit. Especially conservative men will often look out for their female relatives in these situations, even though the reason may be good or bad (such as thinking she's a possession to the male head of the family to sell). I'll never understand these guys who want to go back to "the old days" The old days when women were property and it didn't matter if you loved her or desired her. If you didn't have the money, land and status to give to her parents and prove that you could provide for her. You wouldn't get a wife. These past generations have been a blessing that you have the opportunity to marry for love. Now we, the women, are the owners of our own bodies and are saying we provide for ourselves. If you want to be in our lives. We want you to prove that you will not be burdened and provide in order to be with us. Now the Bride Price goes to us instead of our " owners." Most of these guys in the old days of a few generations ago would have sat down in the den with our dads and Told to kick rocks.

I've been seeing a lot of similar videos lately. Men complaining about being resource providers... like the traditional gender roles aren't both providers, just different types. I was a late in life child. I grew up with the cliche 50s gender stereotypes within my childhood home. A housewife that attempts to live to those standards is more under-rated and objectified than this man has ever known. Always gorgeous, always 'available' to him, spitting out kids for his family line, caring for kids, clipping coupons, budgeting, keeping house... etc. My mom was a resource manager. All of us kids knew if mom hadn't been mom, dad wouldn't have been able to function at the level he did. My parents made it work, and growing up, I didn't know any different. I get out there in the real world... lol... Society has changed. Both parents have to have a job... and so many don't understand why responsibilities now need to be shared. Even superwoman wouldn't be able to fill my mom's shoes and hold down a full-time job... being a good sole stay at home parent is a full-time 24/7/365 job. Besides, anytime I hear a guy talk about bringing a woman in on a passport... red flag. I have moved states for partners in the past. I will never do so again, and I shudder at the thought of moving out of the country. Different country, different laws, different culture. It's an instant red flag for me if a man wants to ship someone in... it screams that he wants someone he can isolate from everyone and everything she knows. So that she is solely dependent on him.

My parents were born in the 1940s, and when I was in middle school, my mother got a really good job - so good that she was making MORE money than my father. The one down side to the job was that it was second shift, so she wasn't home in the evenings to cook dinner. My father made her quit that job. We were poor - not super poor, but we didn't have much. And my father was made so bonkers by this particular stupid social expectation that he decided he'd rather live on hot dogs and fried bologna cooked by his wife than have the money for steaks that he would have to cook himself. My brother lives in Bangkok and told me how Thai women have fleecing filong (foreigners) down to a science. Some have six different men supporting them, and the laws make it so a filong can’t retire there without a lot of money, most jobs are available to Thai only, and filong can’t own property unless they’re married to a Thai. And if there’s a divorce the Thai (woman typically) gets the property. The first GF my brother had there was stunningly gorgeous but expected him to provide a certain lifestyle. Her mom said, “he hasn’t bought you a car YET?! Find an older man, he’ll take care of you.” Then she became a massage therapist in a red light district and started meeting all these rich men. My brother broke up with her after she revealed she’d been wined n dined by an older Japanese man and she didn’t tell him she had a BF. And she still had the nerve to try and get my brother to buy her a massage business. I mean, I love my brother and he has a great work ethic but she obviously didn’t love him, or even like him. I’m glad that ended before they reproduced or anything. Whenever I hear these PP bros talk about going to SE Asia I laugh. The only edge they really have is how strong the dollar is there. I stayed in a beach bungalow with food cooked right there for four days and my share was $75 for everything. Those guys will be expected to sponsor her whole family, too. 😂
