In this video, I share how I overcame one of my biggest in the hopes that it helps any of you who might be struggling with a regret of your own. I share another way of looking at regret according to the experts, Brene Brown and Daniel Pink, that allows us to harness this feeling for good rather than allow it to get us stuck in the past.
Please note that this video and my channel is for educational purposes only and it is not a substitute for therapy nor does it establish a client-clinician relationship. For support that is specific for your unique case, please seek help directly from a licensed and registered therapist in your jurisdiction.
As always, thank you for watching and I hope you are staying well 💛

Not sure if you have watched Wong Kar-Wei’s The Grandmaster, but there’s a line in the movie that says “A life without regret, that would have been terrible boring”, hit me like a truck

Great video and it's really cool seeing how open you are about vulnerable moments. On this topic, I often find myself unable to take action because of the possible regret of what might happen down the road after making a particular choice. Would be interested to hear your perspective on this!

Thank you Jeremy!! It actually wasn't as scary as I thought to share this story, probably because I've processed it already and also because I know this is not a story that's unique to me. When it comes to having difficult taking action because of the fear of regret, I think that's where we can find courage in Daniel Pink's research that regrets of inaction are far more common that regrets of action
