incredible collection that would take a life time to amass. It isn't about the $ but rather the interesting, rare and unique pieces. The fact that a retired AD is asked to return all of this and it falls into the hands of collectors makes this all the more fun for the hunt!

Just visited his website. Watches don't have movement details nor case dimensions. Unclear service history. Unclear if polished vs untouched. Provenance would be a bonus. Not a collectors site. Sorry mate. Pass.
@timemerchantsmtlАй бұрын
@@climatecypher All watches are serviced unless working within tolerable 250+ amp, 0.4 error beat and less, 0-10 seconds a day except for lower grade movements, dimensions are always clearly indicated. Your quick assessment is very superficial of who I am and what I do.
@estateslaАй бұрын
I agree with you. The site should have more details than the typically grey market site. The profit is in the details. This is what will motivate the collectors.
@timemerchantsmtlАй бұрын
@@estatesla No one ever complained in 9 years of this website. I always answer questions and give all details in person/phone/email when asked. But thank you for your feedback, I don't have a team of 15 people and do everything myself, posting, shipping, phones, emails, receiving customers, going to watchmaker 3-4 times a week... and making youtube videos.... 😁

I have done business with the owner in the past and if you have any specific questions about a watch the best thing to do is either email or call him. There’s only so much info you can put on the website

Man, boy you talk too much ! Cut to the chase and straight to the point. Work also on that accent. For somebody that has been in Canada for sometime now, this is a no no!

@@cougarbatterie Racist much? I speak 3 languages and English is my 3rd.
@cougarbatterieАй бұрын
@@timemerchantsmtl Sorry dude, I speak 4 languages. I'm Lebanese living in France with the double nationality. No one here in France knows that I'm not french when I speak, because I have zero accent despite the fact that it is not my native language. Same thing when I speak Arabic, English and Armenian. You know why? because when I lived in Toronto for 4 years, I made an effort to work on my accent and all my other languages that I speak.. That's called trying to integrate and not racism from my part as you falsely qualified me. Be conscious that it is possible, look around you lots of people can switch from one language to another without even noticing any accent. Take it as an advice and not an attack even if you did not ask for it!
@timemerchantsmtlАй бұрын
@@cougarbatterie your comments are still what they are. I am very involved with people and my accent has nothing to do with my knowledge and my capabilities. Everyone in town has an accent, local or foreign. Doesn't matter whatsoever. I am no actor nor a public person who tries to impress a mass of population or make a job out of this. I am not doing this to make money but inform people. In this video 75% of comments are hateful but 98% of people still liked it. In a way the worst comes out of people in this video when it was something extremely personal and sharing with you guys
@cougarbatterieАй бұрын
@@timemerchantsmtl By the way no one questioned your knowledge, so I don't why you're mentioning it, just pointed out your accent that can be improved while at the same time acknowledging that you do speak it correctly and can express yourself easily in that language. Don't forget also to shorten your videos, you tend to speak a lot and stretch it out unnecessarily. In a fast pace world, people want to consume information fast and efficiently. It is what is my fellow Canuck.

for someone who is living abroad and claims to 4 speak 4 languages ect ect ect....your upbringing was missing a critical piece, to show respect and introduce yourself before trying to give advice. You missed the boat this time around, perhaps you will learn next time around.
