Why I'm Thinking about Selling my C43 AMG... (Detailed Walk Around and Drive)

I own a 1998 C43, silver in color with the tuxedo leather interior. It only has 136K miles and drives like it did 26 years ago when it was brand new. Mercedes made these cars to last a lifetime. It’s in pretty much the same condition as yours. The interior is beautiful and the exterior paint still shines through. Every time I drive it, it puts a smile on my face. Like you said in your video, it gets a lot of attention from people that know what it is and people that have no idea what it is. I also own a 2003 SLK32. I love the little supercharged V6 and the ability to modify it at a reasonable price. I am currently looking for an E55, C55, E63 or C63. I’m patiently waiting for one to pop up in the Boise market area. Good luck to you on the decision you decide to make and thank you for the content you provide us.

I would love to see you manual swap a W210 Wagon... I have a 98 E320 That would make some good bones for this very idea, just gotta find the V8 I want and transmission after I get moved down to Texas. BTW Those C43's are beautiful man, I hope you find them a good home.

Agree older 722.6 feels/shifts differently than later 722.6. I prefer older.

If I only lived out west. I would happily buy this off you. When I bought my C55 I was really looking for a W202 but finding a decent one in the NE US is looking impossible. I would love to own this car.

hey bro question, do u think a 82mm throttle body would work on my na 208.55? all i see is for the m113k with the spacers/snouts. wondering if it's a direct bolt on like the 80mm i put on my old crossfire.

I believe it is a direct bolt on, but needs tuning, you can find them on m273 cars

the c36 kit is so much nicer than the c43 its not even close. w124 wagon would be sick

I agree and have always liked it much better, but I will say, the C43's looks have grown on me a lot, still like the C36 better but the C43 is still awesome in it's own right. 124 wagon is definitely big on the list, getting tough to find good deals but if it's meant to be one will pop up.

Why would you want to sell something that is both great youtube content and also interesting? NO ONE cares about the C32 or all the other cars that aren’t the CLK55 or V8 engined. Look at the views, no one cares about your 4 or 6 cylinder projects.

I've never done this for the views or even realistically for what other people may like or dislike. I pick the cars (sometimes they find me) I want to experience and document the journey. I never mentioned a C32 so not sure where you're getting that from, I mentioned a C63 and an S124 as possible replacements IF I do end up selling the C43. AND IF I was doing this for views... you would be wrong, my videos on my C36 and my 190E both individually have more views than the videos on my C43. I get that maybe you have a passion for the C43 or maybe YOU only like the CLK55 or V8's like you said, but don't bring that negativity round here m8 and call the ones who do enjoy the other vehicles no one...

C32 has more tuning capabilities than the N/A v8. Not sure where you getting no one cares from but I find the supercharged V6 more interesting than N/A stuff.
