The reasons why i left Thailand and move to Mexico alone to embark on my solo travel journey as a female and plan on being here for unknown amount period of time...
I've been living in Mexico for a little over a month now, and i think before i start the first episode on Mexico Solo Travel Series, i would love to give you a little bit of the context on why... why i made a decision to do #solotraveling in #mexico

Tah.. when I saw these recent Mexico videos I assumed that you were posting videos about your previous trip to Mexico. I'm so happy you are traveling again! I love solo travel, myself. I started traveling solo because no one I knew would commit to travel with me. My favorite solo trips were through Brazil, Peru and Bolivia. Nothing was planned. Many spontaneous decisions guided my journey. I met travelers and became inspired by their stories and interested in where they had been. It was so fun. I'm looking forward to your adventures! 😊

I think as travelers, we all at some point want to feel achieved, and these "stamps" in our passport are validation that we have been to these places but as we continue to travel for longer periods of time, as you mentioned; "slow travel" or not worrying about collecting "stamps" and just really being "in" the moment is such a freeing feeling. I think with solo travel, we are all afraid of the unknown (and scared of new places because we are conditioned that way) but as we gain more solo travel experience and getting more comfortable with uncertainty and come across such compassionate, empathetic, and just flat out genuine nice people we become more confident with our new surroundings and ultimately we are not alone but there are people everywhere that are willing to help in a moments notice. This is the beauty of solo travel. We can put ourselves out there and be received by those we encounter and organically let things happen.

There is nothing wrong with going back to places you have already been too. It gives you a chance to see things you did not see before and even if you have been to an area you might see something really awesome you missed the first time. I have been to the Philippines 3 times and hope to move there so I can explore more of the Philippines and visit other Asian countries as will be very close to them. I am hoping to explore a lot and enjoy my retirement. So many awesome places in this world to see.

Hey Tah I love the channel and I lived in Thailand for about 2 years before the pandemic stuff happened. But because of this I found myself in Mexico as well and I love it here! I just opened up my first back packing hostel in San Cristobal de las Casas and I would love for you to come by if you are ever travelingthis way.
