I think its the best move ever! I live in Sweden and grow up there... and move to Singapore was my best thing ever... and France to Singapore is huge upgrade... especially the crimes in France is quite similar to Sweden I would say... Singapore is real freedom, while Sweden I always have to be alert when I passing by group of people or places that is darker... And same in France when I was there on holiday..

Welcome to Singapore . If you are new here , it's good to mix around with the locals in your office and learn about the nuances of living in this country . There are reasons why this country is popular with expats , though it is getting more expensive . Besides spending the weekends visiting the tourist destinations and places of interest , get to know some locals to suggest places and how to go about shopping , especially for bargains . Good luck .
@NewtoSingaporeАй бұрын
Mixing with locals is definitely great advice-there's so much to learn about the culture and daily life here that you can't find in a guidebook. The cost of living is something to consider, but it's also part of the experience of being in such a fast paced city!

Authentic baguette is really hard to find in Singapore. When I mention food, I often mean mains or desserts! Eventually, you can checkout Paul - an actual French bakery but the bread in Singapore tends to be a bit hard from the humidity!
