it’s bittersweet moving out of the roomies house 🥺 will miss living with everyone but looking forward to the adventures to come 🤍
This is something I've always wanted to do, but never made it happen until now. On this channel I wanna share the apartment life, cooking, the simple things of everyday life, and much more 👩‍🍳💖

i was just read a book of "how to changed forever" and the author said that if we want to change drastically we need a kick such as new year, birthday, or moveout (which work 80% more than the other one). Everyone want to changes for better but they can't keep it up because they tend to get back to the bubble. Just keep in mind that she can come to visit the bubble every other day when the world become too crazy to handle with.

The thing I do to avoid having too much stuff is getting rid/donate/remove items every time I buy ones that are on the same category. If I buy new shoes, you should get rid the one you think the less frequent one. If you think you want to use all of them then decide which of those you don't like anymore or like less than other

i moved into my own place after living with roommates for the last ten years and it's definitely a crazy switch but was so needed (even though you're just going to like a one roommate situation not totally alone) something i think youll benefit from is your stuff stops being confined to your room, you have more space to fill on your own and it makes you feel less like a hoarder and more like the items you have are intentional and with your stuff more spread out it's more manageable and you're right it's totally easier to keep clean!! good luck yvonnie this is going to be so good for you + your growth!

I have what I like to call my bare essential favorites. Anything that I'm not 100% in love with it don't regularly use or wear doing one of the seasons. Whether it be clothes, decor, candles, etc., I get rid of it. it's helped me get rid of a lot. I then go ahead and donate to my local women shelter. Some women shelters will take make up and other self care procedures. Sometimes used products depending on the shelter! Highly recommend donating there

I’ll admit, I don’t get it. The idea of “I’ve been living with roommates and in content houses so long, I want to be more independent and change things up”, I totally understand that sentiment. But Yvonne’s already moved in and out of places and changed roommates half a dozen times in the last few years. I really don’t see how, if she’s still going to have a roommate and isn’t actually living alone, and is still very nearby her previous places, this is going to be any different than any of the other times shes moved into a new place with new people. The biggest difference is that the new roommate isn’t a streamer/content creator, but then the next sentence is about how she wants to drag them into some vlogs and content, which will start chipping away at the little bit different that it was. I mean, I like the vlogs and content, and wish her the best, I just don’t see this as the dramatic lifestyle shift she seems to want it to be.

honestly the way ive kept my self from gathering stuff is remembering the last couple times ive moved. To be fair I packed and moved everything myself and I just went damn I have too much shit. I let things sit in cart for like a week, and then decide. I also stick to my budget strict so I prioritize. Imo its better to get less at normal price rather then buy a bunch of stuff that u dont need at sale price.
