Ben Porter Dude... If water gets in to a pack, it doesn't matter which water it is, it is going to fuck it up. The whole battery pack will just turn in a rusting electrode to generate hydrogen :D The only hope is in Tesla having upped their battery sealing since delores!

Salt isn't the biggest problem, there is also any other contaminants that can cause a short in the circuit, frying all the cells in the process.

I was taught at all the wrecker companies I’ve worked for, to never use an air bar on a frameless door, convertible or one without the metal around the window. Too much tension and they bust. Wedge works fine. But done right, obviously can work. Love your videos. I want a Tesla.

Before you consider the electronics in this one dead, give them all a good rinse with contact cleaner. Now, whilst on exposed electronics, it is INDEED a pointless thing to do, on the more heavy duty isolated stuff, you might be able to salvage them. Who knows. REGARDLESS, you should pick up the habit of desoldering the major components, caps, diodes, chips etc. You might be able to fix another board with such a "bag" of goodies.

With old computers and other electronics it's not uncommon to run really dirty circuit boards through a dishwasher with no detergent (remove all the socketed chips first!) then dry it very thoroughly and it works.

When it comes to floods, two things kill electronics: First: flooded with power on. Depending on the module: check. Second thing: the corrosion. If he could have gotten this a day or so after the flood, there's a chance. Only chance in hell now is if the modules are water proof. And let's not forget the corrosion in the wiring harness. I wouldn't expect much besides frame and body panels out of this.
