I’m not in a relationship or dating anyway but I appreciate this video so much. I learned a lot on how to be mindful and put God first in everything. Communication is key. I was single since 2015. So my current boyfriend and I are relatively new, despite having been friends since high school. We're different. I'm into yoga, mindfulness and meditation. He is less interested. He's into computers, technology and KZbinrs who cover a bunch of games I've never heard of. I believe in a universal God, he is agnostic. But we want the same things in life: marriage, children, and we have similar morals. We're very compatible when it comes to what we feel is right or wrong and dealing with the gray. We respect each other. We work to communicate instead of proving one of us is right and one is wrong. We try each other's interests: he is willing to try yoga, I'm trying Dungeons and Dragons. Behind everything we have is honest and kind communication. 💕

I definitely agree about this right relationship. I also want to add that you would know that something is wrong in the relationship based from what your spiritual leaders also say. My friends opinion can be right, but I also consider what my youth pastor/ pastor/ parents would tell me about the person I am with. During that season it was definitely hard because it’s easy to think “will I be single forever at this point?” 😂 I really felt like that! But it’s important to remember that singleness is a gift, as well. So I prayed that I would continue to grow to be the person God wants me to and I prayed for someone with my non-negotiables (must love God, must love serving others)
