27 and I pretty much started my journey of self-discovery in January of this year, and I feel everything in this heavily. Half an idea where I'm going and things still ain't the best but I'm better than where I was before and that's the big thing that matters. Hope we both find a path that makes us happy!

half an idea is a 50% percent growth so I see that as a total win - you're doing great and I'm sure we will!

I was also hailed as a "prodigy child" in my town of 3600 people (* laughs bitterly *), and being Asian, I (of course) went straight for the medical field during my first year of university. Changing my major halfway through university this year was probably the most frightening thing I've done in my life, but I don't regret it. Thank you for sharing your experience; it makes one feel less lonely when there are kindred souls out there that went through similar experiences. Loved the video!~

Even If you don't know what to do in The Future, The Most important Things are: - You still have someone behind you, who supports you - You still have motivation for your Life - You are Happy with your Life - And Don't Betray yourself! This Just makes you feel Even more Like a Nobody, eventhough nobody in The World is a Nobody. Everyone is someone and everyone has its good purpose to live The Life and enjoy it. Everyone has weaknesses, but also strengths aswell! 🤗 *Never give yourself Up, viisekai/Eleviisa!*

This makes me realize how easy it actually is to become fully absorbed/trapped in a bubble and believe how it's supposed to be that way; even if you're not actually feeling it. About a year ago, 2 years into my bachelor studies, I was also starting to have serious doubts on whether it is what I actually want to do or not. After hard evaluation I realized that there weren't many other things I was genuinely interested in. In the end, I decided this was the right path for me (for now) given what I am planing to study in my masters. Thanks for sharing your story!

it's so difficult to realize these things, so I'm really happy to hear it was the right path for you. Good luck with everything you do!!

Having going from considering singing as a career to quitting altogether must’ve been heartbreaking! But I’m glad you felt free from external expectations after quitting. Anime music is better btw 😏

I just realized how much I let myself be influenced by my environment over all these years and I'm so happy I did because I absolutely agree, anime music is absolutely superior to classical lol
Here's what I learned after 1 year in Japan.
