I quit my teaching career in 2016. I had 4 years of experience at that time. It was a monotonous job and I hated controlling kids. Everyone said that I am making dumb decisions while quitting my job. Since I was from computer science background I was able to switch to developer position and now am earning the double of my teaching salary. Patience and hardwork can help you to achieve your realistic dreams.

വളരെ നല്ല തീരുമാനം.. എന്തു ചെയ്യുമ്പോഴാണോ നമുക്ക് നമ്മളെ സന്തോഷിപ്പിക്കാൻ സാധിക്കുന്നത് , അത് ചെയ്യാൻ കഴിയുമ്പോൾ നാം അനുഭവിക്കുന്ന pleasure മറ്റൊന്നിനും തരാൻ സാധിക്കില്ല. അങ്ങനൊരു തൊഴിൽ സ്വീകരിക്കുമ്പോൾ നാം ഒരിക്കലും പരാതി പറയില്ല , ആരോടും പരിഭവം കാണില്ല .. ഓരോ ദിവസവും സ്വയം മെച്ചപ്പെടുത്തേണ്ടതെങ്ങനെ എന്ന് ചിന്തിച്ചു കൊണ്ടും പ്രവർത്തിച്ചു കൊണ്ടും ഇരിക്കും.. അതിന് ഒരു നിർബന്ധിത training or memo ആവശ്യം വരില്ല.. perfection ന് വേണ്ടി നാം നമ്മളെ തന്നെ challenge ചെയ്ത് കൊണ്ടേ ഇരിക്കും.. ഇത് ഞാൻ അനുഭവിക്കുന്നതാണ്..അതാണ് ഇത്രയും പറയാൻ കഴിഞ്ഞത്.. ഗവൺമെന്റ് സ്കൂളിൽ അധ്യാപിക ആയിരുന്നു. സുരക്ഷിതമായ ജോലി.. ആത്മാർത്ഥമായിത്തന്നെ ആണ് ചെയ്തത്.. പക്ഷെ ചില ചട്ടക്കൂടുകളുണ്ട് എല്ലായിടത്തും.. എനിക്കെന്നും ഞാനായിരിക്കാനാണ് ഇഷ്ടം .. അൽപം different ആയി കാര്യങ്ങളെ നോക്കി കാണുന്ന ആളാണ്.. അങ്ങനെ ഇരിക്കെ ഈ ജോലിയിൽ പ്രവേശിച്ച് അൽപ വർഷം കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ cake baking നോട് വളരെ യാദൃശ്ചികമായി ഒരു താൽപര്യം തോന്നിത്തുടങ്ങി.. ചെയ്ത് ചെയ്ത് അതൊരു വല്ലാത്ത passion ആയി..പിന്നെ ചെറുതും വലുതുമായി baking related പല course കളും ചെയ്തു.. കാശ് ഉണ്ടാക്കാനല്ല, ഏത് stress ലും ഒരു cake or some other dish bake ചെയ്യുമ്പോ എനിക്ക് കിട്ടുന്ന relief.. അതാണ് ഞാൻ ഏറെ ആസ്വദിച്ചത്.. ശരിക്കും baking is a healer for me 💕...and then ഞാൻ എന്റെ അധ്യാപക ജോലി ഇപ്പൊ അവസാനിപ്പിച്ചു ( ആ തീരുമാനം എടുത്തതിന്റെ പേരിൽ ഒരുപാട് വിമർശനങ്ങളും പുച്ഛവും ഏറ്റു വാങ്ങേണ്ടി വന്നിട്ടുണ്ട് ).. 24/7 എന്നെ engaged ആക്കുന്ന .. വലിയ സാമ്പത്തിക നേട്ടമൊന്നും തരാത്ത baker കുപ്പായം (a certified Baker) എനിക്ക് തരുന്നത് big appreciations.. great feedbacks... ഇതൊക്കെയാണ്.. ഇനി അതൊന്നും ഇല്ലെങ്കിൽ പോലും മണിക്കൂറുകൾ ചെലവിട്ട് പുലരുന്ന വരെ ജോലി ചെയ്ത് ഞാൻ ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്ന ഓരോ cakes ഉം .. (or whatever I bake).. എനിക്ക് എന്നെ സന്തോഷിപ്പിക്കാനും തൃപ്തയാക്കാനും ധാരാളമാണ്. നമുക്ക് 100 % നമ്മളെ കൊടുക്കാൻ സാധിക്കുന്ന ഒരു തൊഴിൽ വേണം സ്വീകരിക്കാൻ .. then you will make your masterpiece with a big smile 😊

എല്ലാവരും life settle/secure ആക്കുന്ന കാര്യമൊക്കെ പറയുമ്പോ ആണ് എനിക്ക് insecurity തോന്നുന്നത്. എന്തോ വളർച്ച മുരടിച്ചു പോകുമെന്നും, ഒരു monotonous life ആയി പോകുന്നു എന്നുള്ള പേടി. There is nothing wrong with such a life. But it is not for me. I want to be uncomfortable. I am afraid that I will get sucked into this circle if I chose comfort over challenges. May be I am a fool. But i would prefer to live as a wandering wind than a sturdy rock

👌🏻👌🏻. ഇഷ്ടമുള്ള course എടുത്തപ്പോഴും ഇഷ്ടമുള്ള ജോലി ചെയുമ്പോഴും അതിൽ 100% കൊടുക്കാൻ പറ്റുന്നുണ്ടേലോ, growth ഉണ്ടെന്നു കാണുന്നതും ഒക്കെ ആണ് സംതൃപ്തി. അത് എപ്പോഴും ഒരേ system follow ചെയ്തു ജീവിക്കാൻ താല്പര്യപെടുന്നവർക്ക് മനസിലാകില്ല😌. ജീവിക്കുന്നു എന്ന ഒരു ബോധ്യം ഉണ്ട്, തൃപ്തി ഉണ്ടെന്നു ഒക്കെ പറയുമ്പോ അത് എല്ലാവർക്കും ദഹിക്കണം എന്നില്ല 😊.
