"you have to commit before you try but then your try has to be good." I like that. I think that'll be my mantra for today's sesh. Thanks for the vid.

14:11 The slappy on the curb to the grind on the bowl was sweet. "I'm scared" . Skating is a dichotomy. Yet we skate.

That was super sick Zack! Loved seeing the progress of bailing out to get the confidence. Love that front smith around the curve! It's great to be an all-around skater, you really get to enjoy the entire park! Keep it up!

This is literally me lol just figured out back 50-50s yesterday. It’s really humbling to go back to basics but I definitely feel a lot more solid and well rounded. Edit: watched a bit more and want to also just check in to make sure your mental psyche is good especially after your big injury. Usually those psychological traumas stick with you for a while even after the physical recovery. What personally helped me was journaling and taking mental acceptance of the trauma I was experiencing during that time. Helped to write it down instead of holding onto it in my head subconsciously. Best of luck homie 😊

Ok. I was wondering why you had gone full street since your accident. I am pretty new to skating as I started transition skating 2 years ago at 53(I could only tic tac) because my son wanted to go to the skate park and it just looked too fun in the bowls . Your videos have helped me a ton. Great content always. I did not realize for a really good skater like yourself you actually feel safer street skating. I thought the accident had inspired you to really push your skating but for you it actually felt safer. The street stuff looks way scarier to me. Probably the no pads in my mind makes it that way.

Yeah, rain can suck for skating. Do you think staying away from transition after your injury, made the fear worse? Also being a balanced skater is way better than having a niche (in my opinion), just because you can adapt to your environment much better; for example, you want to skate, but it’s raining, then you can practice tricks in a covered parking garage. Killed it, so glad to see you back in the bowls and transition. 💪🛹

I know this bowl kinda well and I'm pretty sure that all the water coming out the expansion cracks it's coming from all the land scape around. the bowl is the lowest point and I guess who build it didn't though about untherground water barrier wile building in Southern California. And this land is soaked on rain right now and water always find his way out. by the way, great videos.

its good that the authority services maintain your bowls and parks there? Do you think you could email the government in New Zealand and suggest they do the same? Perhaps they might listen to a person from another country because they dont listen to the NZ citizens
