To avoid wasting yam, kindly try to cut it to your desired sizes and put in ziplock bags. Then put in the freezer. Whenever you want to eat, put water in the pot and allow the water to heat up and then bring the yam from.the freezer and put it in the pot, add salt(if to be eaten) cover it will come out fresh. Will mizz vlogmas. Weldone Vik

Hi Victoria, I notice that you put food in the regular garbage bin. Where I am in London we have a bin for food, bin for recycling and a bin for regular garbage. I would put oil in the food bin. Since you put all garbage together, you can pour oil into a bag with newspaper or hand towel, tie it very well and put it in the garbage bin.

It’s different here. We have the general waste bin, that’s where food waste is also put. The. We’ve got recycling bins and then garden waste bin. Thanks for the ‘oil idea’ 😄
