Why some black women talk like they own black men but then in real life they try to use them like p*nching bags? Do they really want males from other races but they feel the competition may be higher or they just want to boss around "their" men and put psychological pressure on them?

In this life, when you find someone that loves you as much as you love them, and has your back as much as you have theirs, hold on to them. Don't let go. For me, in America, it's a curse either way! Both races are gonna go out of their way to tear you apart and for me, I've even found myself in the most violent situations for simply having a cup of coffee with a white woman, playing pool with a white woman, watching a damn live performance over dinner with a white woman or simply rubbing lotion on her feet on the beach all because some tall, stocky ass, fake-ass Dean Cain lookin' dude was trying to cock-block! End up having to kick his ass after giving his ass a chance to walk away. Come to find out his cousin was friends with a biker gang and was looking for me! Until I get overseas, the best thing for me is to stay single! Because even dating sisters and other women of other races have brought me insane drama!

Chap from the UK here, my mother has recently been involved with a black man, and he has probably been the best relationship she's had since she got divorced in 2019. Granted, she dated a black man from November 2019 to August 2023, but he was a massive narcissist. Almost felt like he was taking advantage of my mom, but even then, their relationship was really strong for the first few years. The new man she's with feels like he's in a totally different league. He's nowhere near as macuvellian as the aforementioned guy, but nowhere near as bland or as scum sucking as her last relationship, who just so happened to be a white guy. That one barely lasted 6 months. And now, she's found that same happiness that was lost in August 2023. At the time of writing, she's off to meet him and have a nice little stroll down to his canal boat. He's got such a good mindset, absolutely makes my mom feel welcome. Can't stress enough how much life he brought to the New Years party we had at my place. So to anyone who says that interracial relationships are utter bollocks? Sod off, it's brought my mom happiness. (Edit: it's already looking like I'm going to be having black stepbrothers, and I am absolutely looking forward to meeting them both. He's made me feel extremely welcome already.)

I tell you, as a black man.. of all the dates I've had in my life, about 95% of them were with white women. It ultimately comes down to shared cultural values. And I've been labeled as a lame, a nerd, a Bounty/Oreo, got racial slurs thrown at me, and a 'shame' for not being a stereotype. I've been ridiculed for taking my studies seriously despite fighting illness. At some point I had to come to terms with the fact that I was too different as an individual, and that trying to appeal to other black people _because_ I'm black, wasn't worth it: not, one, bit. And I'm happy with who I am, because I'm a human first. And I have found the authentic rebel within me, which is a strength to embrace. And in terms of a relationship: I'm sticking to where I've been welcomed the most. Even my own mother, out of her own accord, _recently_ told me: "You're better off not dating black women", and she too is very critical of what is called the """black community""". "Skin folk ain't kin folk", and we both had to learn that the hard way. Finding people who really accept and love you for who you really are is hard, but you should never take them for granted -- especially in the messed up world we live in today. Go where you're celebrated, within any type of positive relationship.
@rebel446612 күн бұрын
That's a ridiculous experience. I've heard similar stories from quite a few "nerdy" black people. My ethnic background is West Indian/ South Asian and one of my nicknames in HS was Urkton (Urkel and Carlton). This nickname came from a good place…I actually looked forward to Physics class, where 2 classmates coined the term and played it up every class. Very fond memories. Faced the same issue. In 9th grade I had a huge crush on a black girl in my biology class. I did ask her out, but she told me she didn’t date guys whom she didn’t know what they were. To be fair, she didn’t say it maliciously, and we continued to be friends/ table mates, but it hurt. My wife is white and we are coming up on 15 years of marriage (3 kids). To this day, she has never verbally torn me down. Most folks are cool with us, but I’ve found that the most cold shoulder treatments come from black women. Our kids are pretty social and will make friends with any child. We have had some black women try to keep their children away from ours. This hasn’t been the same with black guys (for the most part). It definitely does come down to culture. I’m a classically trained pianist, I used to skateboard, and I’m a huge metal head. Those are not things often associated with non-white cultures.

All the friends I've had in my life (I'm 52), the one couple that has been together since 1992 is interracial. My friend Jay is mixed himself, with a white mom and black dad, and his wife is a blonde haired woman. They have 4 beautiful daughters and they have a happy life. Race was never an issue for them ever. Too much going on with life to focus on something pointless....

I'm mixed, Native, black and white. My mom is Native and black, so I grew up in the black culture. I get the most attitude from black women and it always made me sad. I'm married to a black man that's part Trinidadian and we have a child. He gets flack from other black people being with me cuz I'm light skin.

The way I see it is some African Americans have European ancestry but all European Americans have African ancestry from the time they left Africa some 60,000 years ago or whatever it was. We all have the same genetic roots, date who you want. Raise your children with them knowing where their ancestors came from.
@CapraObscura11 күн бұрын
There's fossil evidence that indicates that humans migrated from Europe to Africa. The out of Africa theory continues to be debunked more frequently as new finds suggest that humans liked came from the Mediterranean, Greece, Australia or Turkish land.

I’m a black man I have some mixture in me because my grandparents both are mixed. I know I’m still mainly black but my genes and physical characteristics definitely took some stem from them and I look different hai and skin from most my siblings. I am an African American that a lot of black women seem to not like they always tell me they prefer dark skin or brown skins and I never take offense, I used to get judged for sounding so proper I still consider myself sounding proper because I don’t use much slang just have a deeper voice and also before being in the city so long I had a southern country accent. I love Latinas and white women they show love and respect towards me more than most black women but I’ll always respect and love my culture ❤❤❤.

I’m a black man married to a white woman and until recently I thought most of the racism came from black women. What I discovered is the white racists wont post under the same article or post of Reaves’ proposal as the black ones. A lot of them (the white ones) are hiding over on X these days and I’ve seen some pretty evil, filthy stuff over there and I have a high threshold before I call someone or something racist because our discourse has been saturated with this term and it’s abused in most cases. I guess the disparity comes down to the fact that black racists are more vocal about it (because it’s become socially accepted) while the white ones hide in blogs and comment sections. My message is the same, you have a right to be critical and you don’t have to like it but you threaten me or my family I won’t hesitate to what needs to be done regardless of color.

Totally agree brother, I'm of Mexican descent and my father is White looking and my mother is brown. My Mexican ancestors have been inter-marrying for generations with the Spanish Whites and the Brown Natives and even some Africans. It's sad that people forget that we're human beings, my uncle ( brother to my Dad) is very brown but my Dad is White colored and they both have the same parents. In my case today, I love a Black lady and my brother loves a korean girl, and thankfully we haven't gotten that much push back over it because the American culture has gotten better on these issues than times past, thank God.

I’m Hispanic dating a black woman and we get some of the harshest stares by black dudes and I can see how uncomfortable my girlfriend gets when that happens. She loves me but she tells me that she feels safety around me. And me personally if you want to date someone, race shouldn’t be a problem. It’s who that person is by their personality.

I always preferred interracial relationships and like to be in one. What I can’t stand is the hypocrisy of how one group (black women) would condemn someone (a black man) for dating outside their race (a non-black woman) while praising the other for doing the same (black woman dating white man).

My family supports interracial marriages, we are family and accepts anyone into the family,we don't judge based on race only merits to anyone coming into the family. Anyone of any race can be good or bad. Race really has nothing to do with being a good person and none of us can choose our race we are born the race we are. We also have many adopted kids in our family and we love them all equally,they are family period.

I give Umar Johnson a pass on this because, agree or disagree (& ultimately I disagree), he intends to follow through and ultimately create a post-American black political reality. "Stick To Your Own Kind" is at least *consistent*. Most of us who mouth the anti-interracial dating dogma aren't about anything more than perfecting a vague black "community" that's really nothing more than a black media bubble.
