I was completely sold on investing in a mirrorless camera. However, am planning on starting a portrait studio and I've come to realize there are more important elements I need to budget for in a studio space. Looking at the used DSLR camera market has made me realize I can afford both a decent camera and a basic studio. What matters is the quality of photos you produce, not the tech.

BIG Facts man! Don't fix what isn't broken. A lot of good cameras are being forgotten about. Glad I could help!

@@85visuals Last minute I decided to go mirrorless. Went for the Sony A6000 mainly because of the affordable Sigma 1.4 lenses. And there are just too many advantages in the mirrorless world I couldn't ignore. I also plan to use this camera as a video camera when I upgrade to full frame.

I always say that any high and medium segment camera has enough to make good photos, the current problem is that we only look at the photos with the zoom on the computer and we do not print even 20% of our photos, if we did we would give ourselves realize that any mid and high segment camera is more than good. The best thing is to invest in good lenses, the cameras are computers that sooner or later you will change driven by consumerism, that is what I always have very clear ...

I have already the D850, D810 and D700. Enough right? Wrong! D800 for 500 bucks will arrive next week😁

Im on D700 looking to switch to a D800. How is the lowlight performence compared? Is it a big upgrade to 36mp?
@Audimann7 ай бұрын
@@SonOfWalhall the real big difference is the resolution of course. But low light is on the D800 a bit better. The D700 sensor is still a work of art and delivers very clean pics without noise. Got get a D800 for sure but keep your D700 along with it.

I've used 6400 as a test, and it worked well with the high ISO noise reduction turned on. And, in 2021 Topaz Labs has come out with Noise AI, Sharpen AI, and Gigapixel. When used to improve D800 high ISO images they make the camera competitive. My go to lens is the 24-120mm, and I also have the 14-24mm. I'll put my photos against any.

Even having newer cameras I still use the D800 (and D800E) for everything. 2020 now and I just got another one because they're (almost) future-proof for portraiture. Granted I reach for something more recent when video is important. Terrific video, thanks for posting.

The ISO when expanded to Hi technically is 12800 and the L1.0 is the same as ISO 50

Hey guys, i use Nikon D800 and it has seen better days... My 10 pin connector is broken ( common issue on D800 ) and repair is too expensive. Is there any other way to get remote controll that does not include 10 pin connector? Pls help
@85visuals5 жыл бұрын
I know because it lacks wireless capabilities, it might be something you have to either repair, or live without. Unfortunately. Sorry , good luck.
