I began meditating one year ago, about six months ago because of the lessons I had learned I decided to preform random acts of kindness to strangers...nothing crazy mind you at first it was just smile and say hi to everyone I came across on the street, the result was pretty amazing! Some people would literally stop and look at me and smile back like it was an epiphany! Then I decided to hold the door for people, I would (and still do) hold the door at work, at the courthouse, at the store, everywhere. I was amazed at (and still am) how many people pause and look at me, really look at me and smile and say "thanks" A small thing I know but the small things seem to make the most difference. Keep in mind I hold the door for EVERYONE! not just women or children but everyone...Random acts of kindness...
