@@theblackhokage The framerate is pretty trash. Even with ps5 hardware, the game is still locked at a disgusting 30 fps. Fromsoft really dropped the ball not porting this to the PC.

I bought this game on launch day and could not get into it. Tried it 3 times and just had no interest. Played Elden Ring at launch, loved it and played through 7 times, then did the DLC. Then went back to Demon Souls and finally finished that, which I sucked at at launch and also quit. Then decided to give Sekiro one last try a few weeks ago. And I just beat it last night after 67 hours. Started a NG+ and in about an hour or so I got to and beat the first Genichiro fight, which took me like a week just to get to the first time. Love the game now. For me the final boss was tough, but so was Demon of Hatred. Great game tho. Can’t believe it took me 5 years to appreciate it. I think the PS5 upgrade may be what made the difference. The game plays way better at 60fps.

SS Issin made me tap out for like a year. But to be fair, I had gotten Ghost Of Tsushima, GOW Ragnarok, Deadspace and the Elden Ring, so they kept Sekiro off of my mind. But I went back and ran mostly but struck at the best possible moments and ran away again without getting hit. But it took all of my resources, and I still only won with a lucky mortal blade/draw slash as he went airborne. I even saved the clip so I can relive that moment.

I redownloaded the game, beat everything but the final boss. I first got the game on release and spent 5 months on it. Currently playing it after nine years later, I’m doing a lot better. I’m on the final boss and I got laid off. I put the game back down and will wait another nine years to beat the boss. I realize it takes time. I put the game down the first time after the corrupted monk. Couldn’t beat him.
