it's a huge thing to get a diagnosis that fits the bill, but at the same time there's always that period of time where you have to adjust to it and learn how to live with it, and that part is so tough. it's great that you took the time for yourself to recover from burnout and learn how to best take care od yourself given the diagnosis!

You’re so right, I’m still adjusting and learning how to share what I’m feeling with others. Thank you ♥️

I think this is amazing of you to share and totally valid too!! It’s important to give yourself that grace and take out any negative self talk or other people’s opinions of “oo it’s just for attention”, especially since it’s something you have been talking about and dealing with privately for years (like what where are you getting attention from, yourself???). If knowing this about you gives you confidence to be yourself and unmask and that’s all that matters. Congrats on the move!!

You’re so right!! Who cares what other people think if identifying as autistic helps me. Thank you so much ♥️♥️

My last video was in August and I've been struggling to keep up with life. I'm autistic as well. There are just too many day to day challenges for me to sustainably manage. It sucks because I often feel short of others expectations.

I’m sorry you’re struggling, it seems similar to my experience. It’s so hard to balance everything when your brain can’t handle it all. It’s important to do what’s best for you and try not to dwell on what others think. Easier said than done, I know :/ I hope you can find time to try and recover.

What I did to get a formal diagnosis for autism was I just went directly to the autism place that does adults and takes my insurance in my area. No doctor would refer me because I’m not profoundly autistic. 😅 and I have hmo insurance and they directly pre authorize themselves lol

that's a great idea, I might have to resort to that if they don't seem to take me seriously

It does. Holidays might put me right back in it but I’ll try not to let it set me back too much :/
