I appreciate the way you prepare and present your videos. First, you are not simply speaking from the top of your head, but have given considerable thought and preparations to your content. Therefore, there is quality content in your material and the preparation, perhaps using a text, allows you to make a confident and pleasant physical presentation. Why? Because you are much more relaxed and it shows. Second, you are serious in making your physical presentation both professional and natural. While on some outdoor videos you may want to take a more relaxed approach, the style of format you have chosen is excellent. Such an approach provides the listener a confidence in the thoughtful way you are providing insights and information. Third, obviously you are giving (and perhaps discussing with Paul) the topics of your presentations. Then you are writing down how to share the information/insights in a reasoned approach. Therefore, your words are more than just talk, they are considered thoughts that provide the best content possible. Fourth, your honesty shows through your presentation and your content. It is okay to admit that a young Filipina woman is looking for security, likes to explore and enjoys eating. That's called personal characteristics and oozes sincerity in presentation. Don't depend on your personality alone as some vloggers do. Nonetheless, putting together quality content wrapped in your natural, delightful personality will resonate with most of your audience. Fifth, simplicity in presentation and videography is perfect for your new channel. Your channel and your abilities will evolve, but the manner you have chosen to begin this journey is a wise choice that allows your subscribers and listeners also to learn, to grow and to appreciate a simplicity that speaks from the heart. Sixth, continue to do your homework on your topic. What time you invest in preparing your content you will (or Paul will) save in editing time later on. Seventh, keep on smiling and allowing your eyes to sparkle. Congratulations on a great start!

I've come to realize that I enjoy ANY opportunity to pass "wisdom" on to anyone younger than myself to save them the trouble of learning from their own mistakes (not only a "partner"). I have many young friends (some even younger than my own daughter)... and the only thing more satisfying than delivering sound advice to them... is seeing them apply it in their lives to positive effect.

Very good video as always, Mia. I am almost 60, and I would never marry a woman under 30. Younger women are beautiful, but people change too much between 20 and 30... I can't afford to invest 10 years into a relationship and to have her decide later that she has "grown out of" the relationship. People's personality is usually set by the time that they are 30, after that they should still grow and gain wisdom, but by 30 they generally know who and what they expect or want out of life.

25/26 seems to be the sweet spot between youth and mental sanity for Asian women, I do find it hard to find attractive Filipinas in their forties (there are lots of Thais in comparison) and then you have all the baggage the older women bring with them. I do see a lot of the younger Filipinas on the dating sites are now limiting the age range they are interested in. Things change.

They may not understand the struggles of a filipino and how many do not even have basic necessities. Older men focus more on their relationships without drama. The better you know yourself and what you want the more likely you are to get it. Try and be as honest as you can with yourself and your partner. If you are able to get to the point that you trust the other person enough to let your guard down and be vulnerable you will have a good chance of being in a long-term committed relationship. I hear many Filipinas apologizing for wanting security, physical and financial, they shouldn't apologize , it's hard wired in the psychology of a female, it's called the nesting instinct. It's completely different than a gold digger. Just like there is a difference between security and luxury . your insight and honesty is refreshing.

I’m not against age gaps but I do think a 30-40 year old man dating a filipina in her 20’s is much more likely to have a successful relationship than someone 70+. Someone 40-50 maybe it works, could go either way depending on his wealth, his fitness and appearance and his lifestyle. Yes some 70 year olds have successful relationships but in my humble opinion they are risking being scammed or left more. Especially if they bring her to America

You touched on an important aspect which I heard recently as advice for men wanting to date younger. You must be aware and celebrate the mentoring aspect of the relationship. That point you made about older men not being afraid of their emotions is very true. We've been though the ups and downs and have done the hard of work of self relfection and deep thinking about the world. As a younger guy I had the same emotions but I didn't understand how to handle them or what they even were. I'm not sure of your age but my eyes say "too young" as a 30-something is probably my zone. The meaning of life is true happiness, one's purpose in life is to find that happiness. Holding things in is NEVER a good thing, you keep holding more and more in, eventually it'll come out, all at once and become a far bigger problem, get it out when it happens and move on. I think since I'm an older person too that it is important that you should have certain things in common...the more things you like to do together or have in common the better ...if you don't the relationship will probably not last very long! Don't get me wrong (thought I'm still in my mid 20s) and I definitely want to marry a south asian woman : I'm not against young women dating older guys and I even think that the good age gap should be 10 years but let's be honest to admit it : We're talking about dating an older "foreigner" guy... so the material aspect is there whether you deny it or not. If not, you also wont have a problem dating an older "filipino" guy. right ? When you talk about prejudices and people supsecting potential gold digger in a relationship, I think you also fall in the trap of idolising the relationship with the senior men (beyond 50s). Not all of them are sucessful even if no divorce occurs. And it's by experience I witnessed: a sibling of mine (20yo) married a very rich guy (55yo) and got 4 children from him. And she was emotionally, psychologicly destroyed. She always was jealous of young couples, unsatisfayed with her intimate life even though she became very wealthy. Hell she even passed away before him ! May she rests in peace. What I want to say : it's not all roses and maybe if you my friend Mia got lucky, other girls may not be. some women don't want to admit that an older guy will never equal a young guy wether his foreigner or not.

I appreciate your willingness to share your personal thoughts on interesting subjects especially me being an older guy (55). Q: I would love to see a video regarding how Filipinos view a man like myself with kids. I was married 22 years. My American wife grew distant towards the end and eventually left to Chicago from Santa Barbara leaving me to finish raising the kids (5 🫤). After 10 years my little one is 20 now. I can’t see myself dating an American woman again. I realize there are many good American women but I’m not willing to take the chance again. Have a wonderful day 😌

Hi, new sub. I have been online dating for at least 5 years and am in a relationship with a 43 yo Filipina widow with kids for about 18 months. I'm 63 and a 20 year age gap seems to work best for me. I've dated 20 - 30 year olds before and the maturity level just wasn't there. I'm very happy with my Filipina fiancé and we love each other dearly. as you said, we have bumps in the road but talk things out. Soon as foreign travel is permitted again I'm coming to join her.

The other thing is that the older foreigner guy is normally more worldly, if he is in the Philippines then he has probably experienced a few different countries and cultures , and that is something a younger local guy is unlikely ever to experience . I have a Phils g/f and she always want to know more about the big wide world out there. Its only this covid situation that has stopped from traveling together and building some wonderful ( I hope ! ) experiences.
