Why I was Perma-BANNED in ESO

Found out who these cucks are, and most of them have an entire business with communities or businesses in third parties as passive income around ESO. And you threaten their industry, a pretty simple concept, and are bad for business. But since I really can't help in-game anymore, I figure I can partially use my talents to bring down the house or houses. Damn, picking on the little guys will cost them, and it won't be in the game. - I hate Bully's !

Nah. No system is perfect and sometimes innocents get caught up in it, but most of the time they are unbanned I'm short order. No reporting system at all would make online a free for all.

@@janetsminten8196 There is no such thing as perfection in software, agreed. Not saying there shouldn't be a reporting system to make the point clear, but one that is better protected from abuse. Other companies can, so this something ZOS should learn from but I doubt they will change anything given history of their practices. Hoarcrux is lucky to have such a large voice online as an influence, otherwise who knows if he would have actually got his account restored. It's just another example of ZOS' lackluster oversight and once again missed the mark in which players have to deal with the fallout.

Yeah i expected this, as i stated in your community post. Glad ZoS ended up reversing this ban. IMO bugs and exploits should be the responsibility of the DEVS, not the players. They have almost no pathways to directly report important bugs etc. I used to have gina on discord where i could DM her with serious bugs. but thats no longer the case. Ahwell. it is what it is. @hoarcrux - I was just banned last week and when I filed a ticket it said I was banned for cheating. I have NEVER cheated and would sign an affidavit, let my computer be checked, etc because I have never done anything to cheat. But I can't get any communication from the support staff even telling me why this is happening. I got a generic response and that's it. But I didn't cheat and it is an unjust punishment. I am a casual pve player who plays solo overland content just to relax and this is really upsetting to me because I never thought that I could be be punished for something I have never done or even thought of doing. What can I do in this situation?

Reply to the ticket and ask for a representative to review it. Do this as many times as it takes and eventually it will be pushed through

One thing that I appreciate about your videos when you come across something like what you did in your recent one, is that you know it will be used. Instead of trying to conceal it in hopes it will go under the radar for as long as possible to abuse as long as possible, you bring it into the limelight. You know people will use it, but the more it is brought out and abused, the higher chance it catches the attention of the developers and gets a fix. You took the risk when you didn't have to. I'm glad the developers sided with you.

Yeah I was banned by false mass report by other players for 3 months. I asked to speak with a representative (military vet) and we had a good 30min conversation. Pretty much he told me don’t get baited again but they didn’t give me all that they gave you I just got my account back that’s it

And it's good that you were unbanned, I also complained about a hack player in the game in 2021, and I ended up getting into conflict with him, I said some harsh things to him, Zenitrash banned me permanently and I lost my account due to toxic behavior and insult to another player, but I only did it because I was dealing with a hack, and then the hack keeps killing the game, I have to create another account and do it all over again and when you hack it in the game, I have than pretending he's a normal player... thanks Zenitrash...

Yeah I knew you probably got attacked by losers gaming the reporting system. Same thing happened to me on official forum. BTW nefats was doing stream about you and he was so happy you got banned and talking all kinds of shit. And he had the whole cast of cheater PVPers (who use those exploits or whine all day) commenting about how terrible you are. I will admit your charity video was a bit silly but they were pissed at you exposing their cheats. I have to say you are the ONLY one who calls exploits out as exploits, these cheesers will just abuse any exploit that fits into their playstyle or lie and call stuff OP that isn't OP just because it competes with their playstyle. It is so unfortunate that you won't be able to do exploit vids like that any more because you are the only one who was getting action from the devs for positive changes. Hopefully you have a back channel so some of these terrible cheats can be fixed. BTW did they say anything about fixing the DK perma/stun/whip crap that some people can do at will.

It is so weird I have seen these losers on streams where they go to exactly where they know a certain person will be Xv1 them then claim to the stream that the other person was trying to stream snipe them. And if they happen to be solo, they usually get killed, then get 2-4 people and chase the dude for the rest of the day. Or they find 3-10 total beginners and spend the whole day seal clubbing them. It's so boring I don't know how they have viewers, except when they embed on websites.

I say allow all exploit builds. The pvp is so stale anymore especially in BR that trying to find out those spicy builds would at least add something fun to do in ESO. This current meta of super heals, hybridization, random CC, and god awful zerg v pvdoor is fucking boring. Only reason I log in anymore is to chat with friends while I wait for irl friends to get online so we can play other more enjoyable games.

The idea that you exposing a bug or glitch without risking a ban is actually stupid. Games like Destiny allow you to make videos and exploit bugs because Bungie realizes it's their fault its in the game and they do not ban players for this. Zenimax needs to realize this is for the greater good because it brings potentially game breaking issues to the forefront instead of a handful of players secretly abusing it.
