I always paid a little bit of attention to drama and rumors etc. which admittedly didn't put the best view of you in my head. Jessica Oledan vidcon promised that shed be a featured creator two years ago and she ended up not getting it but she still went to vidcon that year and she would get mobbed whenever she had to get places within vidcon because she didn’t have the feature pass so vidcon got mad at her bc the mobs were a “safety hazard” so the year after that she was promised she would be featured due to the inconveniences of the year before but she didn’t get it again that year even though escape the night (which she was a part of) was a big part of vidcon and was even plastered onto the building. But she still went and caused more mobs which got vidcon even more angry, even though they used tana to publicize the event, so they banned her for 2018 vidcon. I’d suggest you watch the full video because she definitely explains it better than I did but that is a gist!!

Then when she went to the events that they invited her to, they got mad at her for creating mobs and chaos when they made her walk around in public floors on vidcon. Also they post the following (below) on their Featured Creators page, they literally say that FCs are people who have panels/ content at the event... SHE HAD HER FACE EVERYWHERE AND DID PANELS! How is that not exactly what a FC is? They then basically encourage non-FCs to go by saying they will be there! Not only did they cause all the issues with Tana, they are publicly promoting false information! "REMEMBER! There are thousands of people who create online video, and for whatever reason, this year, your fave may not be a Featured Creator at VidCon. That doesn’t mean we don’t see them or don’t think they’re adding value to this weird world; it just means they’re not speaking on panels or otherwise engaging in our content in an official capacity. So it’s entirely possible that your favorite creator is coming to VidCon but isn’t officially participating in our programming. That’s the beauty of the online video community!"
