I used to bag all MVP, but Kastaplast has slowly taken over most spots. K1 soft Reko is by far the best throwing putter there is, it is like a Proxy and Envy combined.

Nice. I haven’t tried a K1 soft Reko yet.

Kasta K1 is by far the best feeling plastic out there. I feel the same about the Kaxe. Feels better than a 5 speed in the hand.

My servo started out very under stable and has seasoned into a hyper flip dream. Lots of glide on the flip up and very predictable fade. Love it.

I already bag an Eclipse Servo in my glow bag, and a Neutron one for my regular cart. It's a noticeably, though not dramatically, more stable than my Craves, which I also bag Eclipse and Neutron versions for both night and day golf. I'm glad it's getting the attention it deserves. It's a 7-speed disc even if if the flight numbers say it's a 6.5 speed.

This is the third or fourth time you've made a video comparing two discs that have been fighting it out in my bag. I'm sort of stuck because I like the idog more on backhand and the servo more on forehand...especially for unlocking wooded holes. But I've got to pick one of them.

😂 that’s awesome! Ok, help me with the next video: what’s 2 other discs battling for a spot in your bag?

@@PartTimeDiscGolf Lets see. I've got a soft neutron Proxy and a Watt in the bag and I'm not sure if I need both. S-Line MD1 vs. Neutron Hex ... can they pair or too much overlap. I feel like the Hex isn't actually straight like an MD1 if you don't throw like Simon. Clash Soda and Innova IT. Discmania DD and Clash Wild Honey. And Vanguard vs. FD3. FD and Dynasty ... do mortals need 7 AND 9 speeds? All of these have been in my bag, but I just downsized and need some second opinions about what is too much overlap. Maybe I'll just ship my whole bag to you for some editing...haha

Oh, I've been trying to figure out that 7,5,0,2 slot. Votum, FD1, iDog, Cookie...I have at times had an aura votum in the bag as straighter options with FD1s to the overstable side. Then I've thought that maybe the iDog or Cookie can handle the whole straight to stable side. There's a wide range of stability between all of the discs with 7502 numbers.

I throw two discs in this spot. First one is an infinite centurion and the other is a remix troll. The troll is slightly more stable because the centurion has been in my bag for 3 years and had turn into the prefect flip up to straight flight with minimal fade
@PartTimeDiscGolf15 күн бұрын
Nice. The centurion is a great disc.

Cool video! I felt a crave in proton or cosmic neutron is about the same stability as a neutron/plasma servo so i don''t really bag both. Confused about the title, was expecting you to tell me why IDOG is better than the Servo.
@PartTimeDiscGolf14 күн бұрын
😂 If you are looking for stable the IDOG is the way to go. Honestly, they were both very close.
@Jac83314 күн бұрын
Have tried the stal but not the idog any big difference to have both in the bag?
@michaelmaddy523214 күн бұрын
I have 2 bags, well 3 w glow. One bag is almost all mvp w a few discraft n innova mixed in. The other bag is all House of Discs/Trilogy. Stal is very OS and would be better for a strong head wind. Don't have an idog yet but I bag a disc mania forge instinct and a k1 soft kaxe z, wouldn't throw them into the same headwind.
@Jac83314 күн бұрын
@ I do have a kaxe k1, what’s your thoughts on picking k1 soft (as mid, fairways, and driver) only experience is throwing a berg in soft
@michaelmaddy523214 күн бұрын
@Jac833 the only disc I can compare directly is a Falk and for me it's all about the grippy factor, they fly near identical. W soft you have to make sure not to thumb down too hard or it can go nose up real easy.
@PartTimeDiscGolf14 күн бұрын
I have tried a Stal. I feel like it was definitely more understable, but I haven’t thrown them together before. That may make a good comparison.
@michaelmaddy523214 күн бұрын
@PartTimeDiscGolf what's your arm speed. I don't doubt you are faster than me but to make a 9 4 0 3 disc feel understable you need massive speed.
@chrysr777314 күн бұрын
It looks like the Servo flips up easier but also glides much farther. My Servo looks exactly like that one.
@PartTimeDiscGolf14 күн бұрын
Yea, for sure. Servo stood out on the hyzer-flips.
@michaelmaddy523214 күн бұрын
Idk if comparing K1 plastic to plasma is an even comparison. Plasma is actually the 3rd most OS plastic mvp makes (infinite disc user ratings, not just imo) and k1 is well not that overstable.

@@PhillipSaurioloh my bad, I’ve been getting a lot of comments about stable vs overstable. When most disc golfers say something is more stable, they mean it’s more over stable. Does that help at all?

@@coldchaos6900I think Part Time is pretty good at hitting similar lines when doing these reviews. I've seen an Idog fly up close and this video displays the flight that I saw in person; the disc was the same color and this can make a big difference run to run. When comparing it to other Kastplast molds the numbers are pretty accurate. If you've played disc golf for any length of time you know you can't compare flight numbers between companies with any sort of confidence. This is why a review like this is necessary
