I like my flattop MF sharks for a stable mid as of late. Picked them up a few years ago off Barsby and it kinda rotated out for other discs, but I've finally gone back after feeling them after sitting on the rack for a bit.

Cool video, I had to give my Quake another try. My Quake is more comparable in feel and flight to a Drone than a BuzzzOS. Seriously think you would like the Bobcat from Mint, especially for your flicks. It has a flat top, lower profile, and is more torque resistant than the Quake, but flies much better than the BuzzzOS.

I do think the Buzzz OS is still a good disc, but it was definitely not as over stable as I wanted. Definitely gonna have to give the Ultra a try!

Lefty forehand guy and i always threw a quake for my overstable mid, but maybe i should try out the ultra this offseason. Also, the MVP matrix in proton is one of the most miney dead straight discs on forehand when thrown hard. Obviously a lot different than the quake and ultra, but I always need to slob it's nob because it was my first ace disc.

Can we talk about OS mid vs approach disc slot. Can someone explain to me when they would throw an OS mid vs just using their Zone. I dont bag any OS mids because I never find a reason to throw it over my Zone. Opinions??

@@aubreyjones2076 I can throw an ultra 75 feet further than my zone. That’s basically my reason. I’d say for players that throw atleast 400 there’s a big enough distance between the two to justify both. Also when the mid is thrown up to speed it will have more glide. All that said if you weee a player who’s max distance falls maybe 350 or less there’s probably no use for both as they would go the same distance 🤝

Thanks Brod. That makes a lot of sense. I’m definitely not throwing over 350 so I’m not seeing the differences that get exaggerated at longer distances. Keep pushing the awesome content man.

The md5 is more of an approach disc rather than a mid imo, it’s like the same diameter as a zone/drop. Not saying md5 isn’t good because i throw one as well

​​@@Leftyycheater89Lol, its a pretty mid shaped mid and rim width. I mean sure you can use it as a dinker approach disc but I throw it off the tee a good bit too. Gannon approaches from 350ft with it, so I guess it's what you consider an approach distance

@ lol, im saying that its smaller than a pyro, quake, buzzz os etc etc, stack one on top of an approach disc, its the same size. They are shaped different obviously, but what brod is going for is a “pushy os” mid and the md5 is simply not that. It’s not like i was knocking the md5
