The 5 wood and 7 wood and 9 wood work great for Launch , spin and descent angle!!! I love mine! great why in the bag guys!!! They stop on the green with great accuracy!

Boys by all means mix it up, and never worry about length of your content it's one of things I enjoy as it portrays the TXG experience. In a number of videos we've seen "accidental" spec changes to clubs found out in the spec evaluation performed as part of the TXG experience, be interesting to see the process TXG style. Tolerance maintenance 101 basically.

Thanks again for another great video. I also had a three, five and seven wood unit just recently. Wanted to simplify my bag, went to four hybrid and a three wood allowing room for an additional wedge. As you explained, easier to hit the ball out of the rough.

Appreciate the look at the Champions Tour - being 55 myself - it was very relatable - however I focusing on the PGA & European tour is ideal - that being said, I really like your idea of making you selection on what bag to highlight based on which setup is most interesting regardless of the tour - LPGA - Web.com or Asian (for that matter) - keep up the great work!!!

I play the tour shaft as well in my G400 max and 3 wood for off the tee ....but a different ping shaft in my 5 wood for shots off the fairway...I'm a need loft and spin player!

I wouldn't say Miguel isn't into fitness. He said in an interview that he's stretching every day. "You have to!" Stretching is easily the most important part of fitness for golfers - way more than lifting weights or stamina exercises. Imho :-)

Very interesting segment. A tour player carrying a 5 and 7 wood ..... I've a question for Mat you and Shawn haven't made a video I quite a while did you have a falling out . Hope not because I really enjoyed the videos you made together

Nope not at all, I still produce all of Shawn's premium channel content. With his move to Quebec City it has just been challenging for me to actually be physically in a video with him that's all. Hopefully we'll do a few when I see him later this summer!

Great to hear ... It was when I first started watching you and Shawn that I decided to give his teaching methods a try it found it very simple to comprehend and I must say my game especially my iron play has improved tremendously and even my driver which was very inconsistent has definitely narrowed the big misses...

That is awesome to hear Rodney! Shawn is someone I've worked with for over 8 years now and I have a tremendous amount of respect for his ability to communicate and teach the game, he's an extremely rare talent much like Ian is.

I totally agree Ian's knowledge is amazing I found nearly every video you and Ian produce has improved my understanding of how the equipment can help and also what can hurt my game and much more about golf equipment than I ever thought possible and I belive I've become a much smarter golfer because of it... keep the videos coming

Speak8ng of golf balls. How do the TM TPX balls compare to the Chromesoft X ? I play both and get similiar results

Chromesoft is usually the highest spinning ball in our fittings, it also tends to launch a bit higher.

TXG Tour Experience Golf Interesting. Do you find the X still spins higher than most balls? I feel like I lose distance due to excess spin off my clubs. Cant wait till my fitting in 3 weeks

When you say he plays the driver open, does that just mean he lowers the loft?

Correct. Adjusting the loft loft opens the face as a consequence.

What do you mean a "Senior" the Guys only 55, he`s a mere Pup! But I am wandering if growing a Pony tail and smoking a Cigar will help my Golf, what do you Guys think? The question is of course rhetorical as I am balder than Mark Crossfield! ........I wonder if I could grow my ear, nose & eyebrow hair......and then plat it into a Pony tail........ think I may be onto something there.
