@@user-ws3st7hu2l Agreed. Its the ruling nature of our constitution, the fact that it serves the authority, the essence of power here is what has been the core issue. After independence, the leadership that we know was highly corrupt and how they thought of themselves as kings ruling over a billion peasants, its the constitution that gave them that power and hence they never bothered to change it. And that sentiment still lingers on within certain types of people. Changes to the constitution itself will be enough to free the country of this sentiment, and will take us years ahead when we will be no longer producing our own enemies.

@@descendedofrigvedicclans2216 English is the global language, so we speak it. Knowledge of English has given India lots of jobs in the field of IT. Thinking white skin is superior is not just in the case of many Indians, but it is so in almost all the non-white countries. That is because the White people are from the most technologically and economically advanced countries. Go and see the beaches all around the world how the white people lie under the sun like sausages, wanting to become brown. Why no one comments on that? When I lived in Europe even (white) strangers approached me and commented on my beautiful brown skin. Why is that not interpreted as slave mentality?

Today I understood why Police and Courts are feared by Common man. Because we don't know anything about it and it is the "Fear of the Unknown" because of the Language Barrier and use of Outdated English words in Courts which signify nothing to the average Indian who barely speaks Basic English. Imagine an India where Police speaks our Native Language and Court communicates entirely in our Native Language.. Where a Man can defend his own Case in Court in his own Native Language..

Very insightful, and pleasantly presented. Would like to add that the SC has also ruled that this colonial constitution cannot be amended so as to change its structure. So we are doomed with colonial state forever. British left a most powerful Trojan horse of self perpetuating power hungry brown sahibs to ensure there is no real power with the people to manage their lives. Some of the democratic process of US highlighted by Sanu are so enlightening, yet our judiciary and media will never cover it. Instead selectively they will talk of dignity, gender equality etc out of Indian context with a view to enslave people further. No wonder Indians appear not to be law abiding. Because they can't relate to laws made to subjugate them, and worse still never implemented uniformly for them to really believe in the laws. Looks like a new freedom movement is the only solution to reclaim power by common people.

Don't you realise that when you attribute that kind of planning and intelligence to the British that you are placing yourself under them in the hierarchy of minds? Great empires conquer and throw off their oppressors and build themselves up - like the Japanese did after 2nd World War. Pathetic empires, even when freed, will invent nebulous concepts of "mental colonisation" and not realise they are just making themselves look like the most pathetic people ever.

Decentralisation does not mean excessive power with the heads of state Government. It only means more power with people to make decisions. It also means more and more times the consent of people would have more weightage than the thinking of few people.Thats precisely what he was referring about Sabirimala issue. In the Sabirimala issue no survey was conducted by the orders of Supreme Court to take opinion from temple authority,Hindu Male and female devotees of its temple, surrounding people of the district to know the ground realities. What mattered more to Supreme court was only the clause of equality not the Jurisprudence they had to undertake for solving such a sensitive issue.Similar case was solved by Karnataka High court in Shirur Mutt case by applying proper Jurisprudence then merely depending on law of equality.

Colonialism depended on a hierarchy of feudal despots and official tyrants. The freedom - movement politicians were obsessed with succession rather than transformation. They were admirers and apologists of the British colonial government. After 1947 ,the dominant party led by a person with feudal dynastic and despotic tendencies, was happy to work the system behind the facade of a republican democracy. Decolonisation never took off .

Perfectly summed up. I recall reading a quote from one of Gandhi's own written works where he displays this tendency of being a closet "admirer" of the oppressor. It appears like a form of Stockholm Syndrome. Even when you read Aurobindo's writings he mentions that when he was in Britain to study (early in his life) he had developed strong atheistic/nihilistic thoughts (which caused him to temporarily disconnect from his spiritual upbringing) and it took him a little while to come out of that mindset. It is a pity that our leaders who took over the reigns of Bharat after independence were all deeply conditioned by the imperial system and education imposed on our people. They seemed happy to retain power and continue the existing colonial system rather than ditching it. This can be seen even now, church and Islam are competing for supermacy and dominance in India. The rot remains as it has. The westerns have shunned the hollow church and they have come looking for prospects in India. Islamic fundamentalism is a misnomer. Fundamentalism is fundamental to Islam.

@@amarkantkumar4233 You're right about the Muslims but wrong about the British. British was always very polite and reformative in comparison to other empires. Britain, with very few exceptions, uplifted each nation that they took a role in administering. Look at how quickly Jamaica went down the toilet when the British got kicked out. To characterize British"ness" as corrosive in any way to India is laughable. Britain has a very intelligent and noble element to their culture - some of which rubbed off on and combined with Indian strengths. Look at all Britain has given you? Also - look at all the contributions India has made to the world (writing, mathematics, science). Why don't you try raising your consciousness a little and open your heart to the British and find a real and worthy enemy.

Thank you for this talk - just curious, if you had chosen to talk in a regional language, what language would you have chosen ? English at this point in time, seems to be understood by people across different states. I agree that people should not be shamed when they speak in their own regional language. But what if you genuinely want to help and be understood, and you cannot articulate your ideas in a specific regional language,? Then there is a problem. It is a challenging situation , as imposing one regional language over another may not help solve the language barriers.

Very Well Said Sir 👌. Following British system or American will not lead us to first place by 2050. If we follow those models we may become like America or Britain but never in first place. We will have overbridges, skyscrapers or metros or bullet trains etc but never be in first place. Even NASA is learning sanskrit for their programs. The idea is to lead to level of experience that our ancestors had 1000 of years ago. We are in the era of change after 2000AD. These are missionaries of that times left by British such as IAS, IFS, IPS etc. Still we are under British rule as pointed out here. Change is to be done by seeing the upgrade in the old system we followed. For eg: barter system was believed to be followed. Barter system is highly decentralised. We cannot implement that in its old format, but needs an upgraded version. As you can see how it will not function in this times. There is a transition period for anything in this world to upgrade and that can be chaos also. This is not to be said as taken by ride but we fell for system for change during the time of independence. I believe this 70plus years is transition period to realizing the system that suits us.

During the covid 19 crisis I have been stuck in one of the countries down under. Here though everything is very clean cut but I am finding a difference in the way the human innerself works .as the above speaker stated that in the western society the romantic relationship is the most important , it's true, but that's it no other relationship is of any importance. It's the depth of the innerself that is missing , the social bonding is not there . one can be living amongst thousands of human beings but one feels alone .in the indian society bonds were far more .bonds with my family , my friends , my neighbours , my domestic staff , my local shopkeeper .concern for another human being is far more in the indian system .thus the loneliness ad the antidepressants are missing . It's now that old peoples homes have come about in india otherwise the old and young , the family was living together .let me tell you living in the old peoples homes is like, though one has all the comforts , yet the soul is not satisfied .its like the living dead feel .without emotional family support the essence of life is finished and incomplete. Money can buy me food and a place to stay but not the support of each other .the human to human contact is of utmost importance in a society .

If Sanskrit was made as first written and spoken language, and as ModiJi has said, people should be able to read and write their various original languages, then people can be more active on how their constitution is set up and applied. The laws related to internal matters are colonial, but as far as I know India has no obligation of any kind to UK. e.g.: - India does not pay tax to UK - UK is not ordering India for any action - India has no responsibility to provide military protection to UK - UK has no obligation to save India if India gets in trouble - No Indian is an automatic citizen of UK or vice versa. So, when 99 years of power of transfer passes, will UK come back to rule over India? No. So, the problem is internal.
