It's okay man, take a L and move on. I am a BJP supporter as well, but you can't deny that Modi was unbearable and downright megalomaniacal in past couple of years. We needed this as a country. He is still there at the center, now he just have to cut this religion bs and work on actual issues.

If BJP won democracy is in danger. If BJP lost democracy is restored. I didn’t know election performance of BJP decides sanctity of democracy. China and North Korea has no BJP will they now qualify as Democratic countries?

I’m overall a BJP/NDA supporter myself but I can understand what Rajan is saying. BJP got very arrogant about its position and started boasting about “400 paar” and insulting the opposition instead of addressing core issues like unemployment. That was dangerous to democracy. This is a reminder that the voters cannot be taken for granted. I’m positive that BJP will learn from this and take a more cautious approach in 2029.

Their 400par plan is sketchy. They might change the constitution and cause a lot of democratic backsliding if they achieve that. Now they didn't even get 300 seats 😂. I think this good. The people taught BJP a lesson not to be overconfident and belittle the people.

Sadly BJP has become synonymous with Modi, which is to it's detriment. We need the work ethic of Modi and character of AB Vajpayee ji. Don't feel disgruntled, you have been used to only the praise of your government for past 5 years in the country and the messaging that the whole world is against India that why they criticize us. Think deeper, you will realize, this autocorrection was needed as no country can depend on one man forever, he will die one day. Now he is more accountable than before and will be focusing his faculties towards actual issues than Jai Jagganath etc.

Whatever, indian majority hindus showed they are not like the Islamist. Imagine BJP was an Islamic party in a muslim majority country. India showed its not like them and thanks to Hindus.

The categorisation of "technocratic south" and "emotional and historic north" is so derivative and doesn't even start to illustrate or understand the complexity across the subcontinent. It speaks to how little the presenters actually understand India. Your listeners and viewers deserve better.

He is an extremely patriotic person. He has shown tremendous courage to save our democracy and dignity of the country. He is not at all a CIA or any agent who is acting against the interest of the country.
