This different time slot is such a 2 edge sword. On one hand, it's difficult for women to manage time according to those slots and on the other hand, no time slots means women who aren't comfortable moving freely around men. Plus the worst thing is, many women aren't even allowed to go to the gym

Why Indian women's don't go to gym ? Ans - kyunki Ghar se permission nahi milti🙂🙂,, ... Edit: I have seen lot of people commenting bad things about me and making different assumptions according to their pov about my comment .. so I just wanna tell one one thing for those people who are saying why I'm not allowed to go to gym am I child or what and tried to make fun of me then lemme tell you guys not every family is as progressive as yours , not everyone is as supportive as yours , not every city/village people have the mindset to let the woman of their family live their life as per their choice .. Secondly , those who are saying I should start gyming at home -- then lemme tell you "you doesn't know about my family condition, you don't know how many family members I have , is there enough space at my home to do workouts , you guys know right that there should be an enough space to do workouts right ? Thirdly , for those who are saying money problem so lemme tell you one more time that I'm not an unemployed, and I can bear my expenses.. I think I have cleared all the doubts of you guys , so stop commenting about me here , stop giving me your advices , focus on your life , I just commented here about my life , I don't know about you guys ,.. so stop commenting and comparing your situation with mine not everyone lives the same life .. and about what I had commented in the above, cos I have seen here in my town how women has treated by their family about gyming, working out late at night , about there dresses etc . That's why I had commented that ... That's all.

She told me according to recent guidelines women with PCOS are being prescribed to do weight training/ swimming for atleast 3 days a week (45 mins). My mother was hesitant and asked the doctor for alternatives(just Asian mother's things). She said free hands and running won't create much impact but even doing limited weight training also can keep the body fit. There is absolutely not 1 but many reasons why women don’t gym . I myself have encountered many situations in which men are mostly always dominating the whole gym , making women uncomfortable by constant stares for months, no equality on rules & some of those married father men hit on some females! Like it’s a total place for a women to don’t go . I feel in every city a separate women’s gym must be opened with strict rules that should be followed!

When I started working out, I had no idea how to go about it, how to even pick up a barbell but it was a journey, a journey that I did consistently and required hardwork. I went from repping a barbell with no weights to now deadlifting 140 kilos, getting a gold at state level and now prepping for nationals! Powerlifting has become my passion! And I loved every bit of it! Don't get intimidated by going to the gym and don't compare your body to anyone else's, you're all unique! Whatever your reason is for joining the gym, never ever give up on it, trust me, there would be days where you feel like crap and your body is sore and cheating on your meals or quitting sounds like heaven but it isn't worth it. All you have is just this one life, don't spend it by just "wishing" things to be different, go out there, make it happen! You'll be super proud of yourself and it will instill confidence in you!❤

I'm weight training since 2019 and it has improved my life sooo much. From menstrual health to sleep quality to appetite. I used to be really under weight at around 41kgs. Today I'm 52kgs with more lean muscle and less body fat percentage comparatively and so much stronger And I don't look bulky in any way. But definitely toned Most women in our society either doesn't have time or 'permission' or they not comfortable moving freely around guys. Even though I can't relate personally, I definitely understand where they're coming from, after interacting with them for years. In my 5yrs, so many have joined and quit. And if they're young student, the pressure is too much to manage, but thankfully more college girls are joining. And only our gym is truly unisex in our area. Rest all have separate time slots for men and women and that makes it more difficult for women to manage in that exact slot of time. But that too is necessary as otherwise women aren't comfortable. One of the reason I'm liking this gym is our trainer is a really good man and he doesn't promote anabolics. Otherwise going to a gym with anabolic steroid users with rage issues ain't my cup of tea tbh

I am so glad you made a video abt this topic, Coz I am a girl and I love going to gym but when I first told my friend abt it she was really sceptical and said "why are you doing gym it'll make ur body bulky, try running or zumba instead" so this a common misconception, but I hope more people get educated abt this and make healthy choices.

It's not about gym, just that gym is hyped more. Ask female soldiers how do they train. Without gym, you can be fittest, do push ups, pull ups, walk, run, jog, cycle, swim, sports, as simple as that. Ask men who dont go to gym how they exercise anytime anywhere. You can start doing wall push ups anywhere u see a strong vertical wall, u can do incline chest push ups and skipping to lose weight. But some girls just hate doing these things, they don't want to push up or pull up. That's the problem. Koi ladkiyo ko Sirf Acha dikhna kese hai vo hi Ata Hai bas

It’s because if you lift weight, your body will eventually need more protein to repair the tissue, but Indian cultural women is never gonna eat food for protein, we just eat by emotions. That’s why yoga is still beneficial as it stretches the muscles, and doesn’t lead to any protein demands like strength training do

@amansagar49484 ай бұрын
@@HenneCindie indian women are not gonna eat 8 eggs in the morning because "protein". the practical solution is cardio & yoga & Pilates. Essentially gyming is breaking down the tissue, it can totally go wrong if the body is not fed with good nutrition & sleep and less stress, which is again a costly deal mentally or otherwise. so many American women who do heavy gym in 20s suffer from various joint issues in 30s because they tortured the body too much, didn't focus on mobility. Gym is overrated in short. Again, talking about grown up women with families.

🎉 That's a great attitude .. Also helps to remind oneself, over and over again, that, nobody thinks about us as much as we think about ourselves 🎉 And if someone has too much time on their hands that they think about us all the time, that's not something to worry about either, cause it shows that they have nothing else going on in their life, which makes them worthy of pity & concern, cause everyone should have something going on for themselves in their lives 😅🎉

I don't go to gyms but working out since 2018. In the first year, I was doing cardio for about 20 minutes, I slowly started integrating yoga and body weight training without equipments, and at this point I have bought resistance bands, hula hoop, skipping and dumb-bells for switching my workouts and I try to workout 30-45 minutes everyday. My work hours vary to a degree and I am not able to hit a gym, nor do I want to because of reasons started in the video, but working out over years has effect on the diet and sleep. I don't go out to eat fast-food chain foods or gravitate towards ultra processed/packaged foods, working out goes hand-in-hand with the food you eat. That's not to say never have indulgences, that is equally important to maintain healthy relationship with food.

I live in germany, when I am outside, most of the women I see are from different countries and ethnicities. All of them are physically in shape , attractive and take care of their body and looks. And then I see a few Indian women 2-3 times a day, really unattractive, not at all taking care of body, not even body, even face is like just washed with water nothing, hair is also not at all done.. It's as if they don't love themselves. Really critical situation.

Being a indian woman majority of indian womens are not financially independent because of their unsupportive family instead of spending money for their education they arranged marriage them,most of the time they spend their time in house chores in a name of a housewife...after having a baby a women must have to take care of her baby like 24hrs,by coinvising her in-laws she can rarely rejoin her job.It's rare to find understandable in-laws for women in india...only some of the Indian women looks beautiful and take care of their health &self being financially independent by maintaining their high maintenance life....🙂

I began my fitness journey at home during my late teens. I still dont go to gym but have incorporated hybrid workouts indoor and outdoor to keep it fun. I love moving my body and exercise depending on how I feel that day. Working out shouldnt be a chore ladies. Make it fun and keep it slow and steady so as to not lose consistency. I am the only child in my family. My mom is the Principal of a Government College. She qualified for the UGC NET exam at the age of 30 after getting married. When she started working for the government, she used her salary to hire a cook, as my dad initially did not agree to it. The cook prepared breakfast, lunch, and dinner on weekdays. When I was 5 years old in 2001, my dad started contributing to the cook's salary. My mom mostly cooked only on weekends. Additionally, my parents also employed a maid for cleaning purposes, and both of them shared the cost of her salary. My mom's experience taught me that if a woman is working and her husband is not cooperating, she should start using her own money for some time. Eventually, her husband will understand and cooperate. I stayed in Cresche after school time for a few hours since the Nursery class. None of my relatives or grandparents ever taunted my Mom.

Doing Gym(or bodybuilding) isn't even a sport. The entire point of Gym is to get shredded and fit for aesthetics. Better to participate in sports or calisthenics. The gym isn't integrally bad but the marketing of Gym sounds like a capitalist gimmick. Instead of Gym which is financially not possible for most Indians. It would be better for us to grow a sports culture. How many parks are there for per 1000 people, just 1-2. We lack basic infrastructure and Gym won't help us. It will just keep us in the loop of consumerism.

When I was 17 years old and my big brother was 19 years old, he started to go to the gym regularly as we have many gyms near our home. Simultaneously he was also im that phase of life where the kid is in his/her rebel mode against their respective parents. One day after argument that occurred between my brother and parents they "This is happening all because you are going to the gym, this wouldn't have occurred if you would just do yoga and meditation as we advised you" and then they just continued to be stuck with that conclusion the whole say. No one really talked much about it but ever since then for me trying to do any type of yoga,meditation or exercise insise the home feels weird until I am mostly alone at my home. Trying to even think about approaching parents about going to the gym just makes me go "Agar bada bhai hone ke bhaavajud mere bhai ko ghar me bhevaje ke taane sunne pade, toh choti behen mere baare kya kya ajeeb lagega?". I'd appreciate sone advice on this.

My dad is a commando trainer and was in SPG, and a thing he says that normal day to day job people DO NOT need gym to stay fit. Gym is for people who are into bodybuilding or athletes and NOT for people who wanna loose weight and adopt a healthier lifestyle. -He said that he noticed, most fat people who go to the gym ends up leaving it or they just don't really fix their diet or straight up have no idea what is healthy. Eg, they will drink milk and think its healthy but in reality they drink milk with like bourvita or horlicks but unknowingly they are consuming so much sugar, same case with breakfast cereals, packaged juices. (companies do a lot of false ads claiming a product to be "healthy". Pls learn to check the ingredients lists and the nutritional content) -Exercising is a way smaller percentage to losing weight, your diet is a way higher percent than you think. -Indian food isn't the best option if you wanna lose weight. In most homes, day to day food is FILLED with salt, sugar and spices. They hold a lot of water in your body (making you look bloated) and also isn't very easy to digest. Plus their nutritional value goes down. For example, instead of the salty tadka dal, eat it boiled. It will suck in the beginning but then you will get used to it especially after experiencing how easy your bowel movements are and how less tired you will feel. -With a healthy diet and just doing housework like mopping and cleaning etc, it is enough to MAINTAIN the healthy weight category. Or even better, just play a sport. Not only good for physical health but also builds valuable social skills and good for networking. My dad has always been particular about my diet, there were times where me and my dad were sitting at the dinner table from 7:30 pm (our dinner time) till 11 pm where I was crying because I didn't wanna eat the boiled tori and raw tomatoes in my plate but he was like NO MATTER WHAT OR HOW LONG WE HAVE TO SIT HERE, YOU HAVE TO EAT THIS. But next day he would make Thukpa which is my fav (with ofc just enough spices and salt). I used to hate him for this as a child but now as I am 20 years old, I am very grateful. I am a very optimal weight, never had ANY disease in my life (just fever like once or twice a year which lasts for a day), never struggled with body weight and body image issues, my eyesight is really good too. I always get compliments from the doctor when I go for yearly checkups.
