Problem with Iridium is that there are only a few very seelctive buyers. With Gold, almost everybody can buy it.

There is also very limited supply, other than element shops like Smart Elements from the Video you cant buy it anywhere. I got 20g from them , but taxes and a small profit for them mean that you pay like 60% more that spot price...

And the diamond industry leaders keeping the world inventory of diamonds low to inflate the price is called artificially induced scarcity, which is why newer lab grown diamonds that are indistinguishable from “natural diamonds “ are negatively impacting the price of those natural diamonds. And every time some diamond industry executive complains about lost profits of something that should not have been that expensive to begin with makes me smile

FALSE! Rhodium is five times more rare. Ir. .001 ppm vs. Rh .0002 ppm. And iridium's density is in crustal rocks. It is thought to be much more common in the mantle and core. And it's often 100 times denser in meteorites.
